What about beginner entrepreneurs who have not made their millions - would you advise them to live in their high tax homeland until they've "made it"? We've started 5 years ago, and struggling to grow partially due to the taxes and high cost of living in the UK, but all these lower tax countries you suggested are currently too expensive to move to e.g. Thai golden visa, Malaysian 2nd home visa, def not Switzerland or Italy, etc - can't yet afford. Bit also the Georgia offer not great as we are above the turnover threshold for the 1% tax (despite not great profits). Also can't afford to pay for your culsultation yet sadly either 😅 what would you suggest to people like us?

Qatar is sounding like a better option. You can register your company there and not pay corporate taxes while you yourself live in Dubai and pay no personal income tax. Qatar also has enough heft that they can resist being put on the FATF grey list or being called a tax haven, unlike the UAE. Turns out European countries really need that Qatari LNG right now and they'll do anything to keep their suppliers happy.

Qatar is a decent option and besides being an hour away from Dubai if you want to live the high life... It also has the best airline in the world and access to the GCC region since the Qatari residency lets you go and live in any GCC country As you say that they need LNG so they'll be keeping their supplier happy by not interfering with the Qatari authority over taxes and the like

@@kayn6858having residency doesn't mean living in Qatar, it's a means to an end, also Qatar isn't a bad country to be in if you value living in a less flashy lifestyle of Dubai, it's not less luxurious but less pretentious than Dubai. If the GCC region is not your cup of tea there are certain Asian countries that have similar or better options. Europe is getting shittier every year and unfortunately there are less and less options for a minimum taxes business environment

the best strategy for non UK or US citizens is fairly simple, if you need access to both Europe and the US, you have a US LLC in Wyoming with a UK LTD as a subsidiary, now you have access to both and you only pay taxes where you live, to retain the pass through status, don't trade directly in the UK and don't trigger PE in the US, now all you need to take care of is your personal TAX residency by moving and renouncing your tax residency in your current country. The absolute cheapest structure to maintain as well

Added bonus is that U.S. structures almost never get exposed. Not a single U.S.-based structure was found in the Panama and Pandora papers. In terms of international tax transparency, the U.S. is right up there as the worst offender. Granted, this only really works for those who aren’t U.S. citizens or can find creative ways to get around this. When the Pandora papers came out, many said that it only exposed the ‘B-team’ of tax planners. The ‘A-team’ has its stuff based in the U.S. God knows how many corrupt foreign politicians also have their hands in things like these.

Somewhat off subject, I notice MANY americans only speak 1 language where many other nationalities speak at least 2 language. If Im a native english speaker what would be a good 2nd language for me to pick up? I spend a lot of time in the middle east so Im working on classical arabic. Its very challenging, are there any other good languages to pick up?

If you're headed to a latin american region, learn Spanish. For Singapore and east asia, Mandarin is the way to go. In the Middle East stick to modern standard Arabic since that's what they've agreed upon

Depends where you see yourself most in the near and far future. In general it's just a numbers (of speakers) game. Mandarin, spanish, maybe french, portuguese etc.

Spanish has the most global reach after English. All of Latin America expect Brazil speaks Spanish, not to mention the country of Spain itself. If you're American, then there's the added bonus of being able to speak Spanish in places like Miami and near the Mexican border. Latin American countries are also geopolitically stable and they have ample natural resources. They are also quite friendly in matters of immigration and citizenship. You can also buy farmland in stable places like Uruguay. And Spanish is not too difficult for English speakers to pick up on. And Portuguese would also be easy to add to your list afterwards, and the other romance languages.

Nice place and I find the zero CGT agreeable. The three downsides (in descending order of importance): - Housing, lack thereof, especially rentals - this problem mightn't be unique to 🇮🇲, but it's acutely bad there. - High living costs: food, fuel, energy... - Weather-induced transport disruption

Hi Andrew! My name is Mello and I’m an American entrepreneur( barber) that’s trying to save money to move to Bahrain!!! I don’t know the full process and steps I need to get situated there besides finding clients but I would probably have to find a job first before I get to the entrepreneurial side of business 😏 if u can help me or give me some great advice on moving there I would really appreciate it!! I love the channel I’ve actually learned some great things from watching!! My goal is to move there next year but if I can find clients I would move ASAP!!

Bahrain may not have taxes but their economy is weaker than America's. You're better off being a barber in a rich area of some American city. I think people underestimate the amount of money you can still make in the West and most certanly the USA. And plenty of tax breaks in the USA too.

@@RK-bx1by and to be honest bro I’m already in a rich big city in America I live in htown(Houston,Tx) but da problem is in America there’s so many barbers not saying I don’t have faith in my craft bcuz in my eyes I’m da goat 🐐😎 I just know overseas supports exotic things or people more than da locals bcuz they’re not use to having easy accessible things or people from America unless ur in da military 🤷🏽‍♂️

To be fair, at the end, Andrew did mention that it's okay to pay taxes to live where you truly want, but you should still give yourself the most flexibility by registering your company in a place with 0% corporate taxes. Then you can go yourself and live wherever you want and pay whatever the tax rate is, based on the salary you pay yourself.

To be fair, the UAE doesn't give benefits to its non-Emirati residents, so I don't know what exactly is being taken from the community, and they have trillions of dollars in oil wealth. If a country will always treat me like a foreigner, then I have no reason to pay more tax than I legally have to. It's completely legal to move your company offshore. We are talking about the same country that literally set up various free zones so that companies of other countries could avoid taxes.
