I finally used my 1676 universals a month ago. Maxed Hermann, Liu Che and finished my Zhuge who was already 5551 so I understand. My alt has 800 something but Im waiting to use them when Season 3 opens

I agree your approach is good and murderer ball is what matters the most i still go with 3 1 1 cav due to equipment because it matters more if you have full legendary meta gears on your marches you will trade much better then purple geared top meta march against secend top meta with much better gears i wish i did 2 2 1 gears but it depends on what you worked on for the past years

I like this approach. Because its more about what you need & it varies how each person plays. I’m running Boudica/Zhuge, Amani/Hermann, Martel/Liu & Joan/Mehmed. I’m satisfied with my archers in my current KvK. So I’m waiting for the new Cav & later new Infantry because thats where I’m falling short the most

This is great advice you’re giving. I have been doing this since day one. My line up is not meta. But I have no regrets. Each one of my legendary commanders it’s max only. No partial and each one has its purpose for me.

All F2P always remember. Always max a commander, 30 min before the opening of pass 4 of the KvK you are planning to fight crazy. Also consider that commander going to make. The rank 1 March of that troop type.

Great video! I'm Cav "main" , running 2-1-1. I just maxed Liu Che and benched Guan, so happy with that decision, amazing trades! I noticed my Boudica- ZL trades are the worst though , considering maxing Herman but I'm not sure about it😥

Is your Boudica/Zhuge maxed? I mean even a maxed Boudica with a 5551 Zhuge is solid. Its really about equipment with that pairing. My best march is Boudica/Zhuge Hermann needs an AOE Archer to work properly from my experience. I use Amani/Hermann which is deceptively good because Hermann needs the double AOE fires So Zhuge/Hermann would be good but you’re still gonna need the right equipment. My Amani/Hermann biggest issue is it doesn’t have the equipment its just “okay” 3 Legendary pieces my 1st archer is like 5 legendary pieces Regardless best results is to have maxed Zhuge/Hermann with the best equipment

The main starting point should be what role you want and focus on doing it as main. Murderball is just a dream for F2P considering the armaments, VIP level, iconic & crit gear and crystal tech. No matter how many maxed commanders you have, you'll be always F2P in openfield. That's the cold truth

If you are free to play, you won’t have enough gold heads to expertise a new commanders every 3 months. The best solution is level your meta commanders to 5511, and then work on the commanders that have a longer lifespan (ZL and LC)

F2p can keep up with the meta. F2p can expertise 2 commander every 3 release. So far every release cycle (cav infantry archer), at least one commander was skippable. This cycle, Huo was the easy skip (no improvement to Nevski Joan), previous was sargon (no improvement over Guan Scipio). Im not even factoring leadership release that give even more time for f2p to stack up heads

The game is really require a lot of time playing, I mean you need years and the end will make you realised that if you are not spender then rally and garrison captain isnt for you. Better get commanders that can help you barb chain and keep smashing all events by not spending too much speed ups and save up to 300days of speedups to secure that zenith😈😈😈, also prioritise investing on gears, getting that full legendary all crit and V awakening is the best.
