It's July, and I am back after 9 months off. I got EQ to work on my iMac M3 using the CrossOver that simplifies using the WINE compatibility layer. Once in a while I notice a texture not loading, but not a big deal to me. I've actually only noticed the Ranger 1.0 weapon lightning texture not showing properly. Everything else. so far, looks and plays well. I'm back to doing my usual and am 122 so far leveling nice and slow and will start the LS xpac once I hit 125. I'm guessing will take me about 3 more weeks leveling using Overseer and grinding the important AA's while doing so. You're vids are always very helpful and a nice place to go when I feel rusty after a long break;> Rock on man!

Question, I heard on test server you get same advancements as a paid member on a regular live server. Is that true? If it is, I'll transfer my ALTs to the test server and get new xpac on there

Yes all accounts are treated as subscriber accounts but you do need to purchase the expansions if you want to play current content. I believe Test is 2 Xpacs behind on what is offered if you do not buy the newest release.

Do you use the Ignite Bones/Scent combo for slows?

I have but I've gotten away from it. It is a good technique for us to stick with as it is an easy way to help Jober. But two things. First, mercenaries are finally fixed on Test so things are a lot different now than in this video. Second, the named bosses in this expansion have an insane resist check - even to fire - and I've had 0 luck getting IB to land so I can then cast Scent to slow. It's been frustrating.

T2 bosses are a bit harsh, T1bosses are just a minor speedbump...

Man I hope they are legit harsh. I know that sounds odd but the last two expansions have not really been much of a challenge just a time sink.

well our buddy old twelvestrings tried one and got proper owned and he gave it 3 tries if i remember correctly from his vid. Couldnt keep his raidpet up even with a healer merc. Now i dont think he focused really hard on the pet since he obv want to cast some spells too and idk how high EM pet he has but atleast they dont seem like straight walkovers.@@XellenEverquestTestServer

@@MrKveite1 Don't worry. I have solo'd them. Took down Grenn Rustblade, twice now. First time as BAD. Second I sorted things out. Video up tomorrow AM. First round was close to 500k dps, second got moving almost to 1 Million. Problem is our healer mercs are bugged so it's difficult until they get fixed.
