Lots of great info here! Thanks for sharing. My main takeaway however is how Leanne does zippers! Premade and cut to size seems so much easier just buying zipper tape and trying to get the zipper to catch.

pre-made can be easier! We use a bunch of different sizes and like the leather stopper look.

Word of mouth is pretty cool 😎;! I live in the Bay Area. Got a phone call, this guy wanted a pair of chaps . So I asked him where do you live? He said Merced. I met him halfway the chaps fit him nice. Then I asked him how did you get my # number ? He replied your not going to believe this, but from tic-toc I went Whaaaaat;! Some guy wharing- sporting all my leather chaps and tool pouches . So he asked him hay I like your rig/ set up on your belt. Where did you get your stuff ? So the guy gave him my # number ;! The Wife and I were so amazed! Thanks for sharing your time and videos!

I would love to hear your thoughts on packaging. How to pack for safe arrival and at the same time creating a "look". How much is too much when it comes to added stuff in packaging?

This can be tricky depending on what you sell. Thanks for the idea!

Hi guys! I always love Nick's info and thoughtfulness on the topic. I've heard many of the things he talks about but his delivery made me internalize the message this time! In the very. last scene I noticed Leanne using a hand crank on the back of the cobra to lift the needle. I have a Juki LS-1341 with a knee lift. If you have not already installed something like that I would highly recommend it. I know you guys stitch standing but you could adjust the lift to suit your right leg. Anyway the lift allows for way smoother turning of objects, does not interrupt the overall flow, and it is much faster than the hand crank. Its one of those things that don't seem to be necessary but once you install it you think, "how did I live without it?!"

Thanks for the tip! We do have a pedal that lifts the presser foot. This is just an old bad habit. I think for some reason the standing contributes to it. Thanks again, let us know if there is ever a topic you want to hear us speak on.
