Phenomenal composition, way to evolve past traditional Japanese conventions. I think it’s very effective. Also, this windswept vitex is my #1 favorite of the trees you share on your channel

Hi Jerome. Great Video! I have an unrelated question. I was forced to take out a lovely Star Magnolia from the ground. Given that its coming to winter, would you suggest leaving in outside this winter or bringing into a non heated garage? I live in Interior British Columbia Canada, Zone 6A. Thank you as I want to convert it to a Bonsai but am not sure how to handle the upcoming winter.

I don't understand why anyone would opt to remove the leaves of their bonsai for exhibition, display, or for any reason. It doesn't look artistic; it looks like a potentially dead tree, frankly.
