Really good , thought provoking video. Recently took a position with defined profit and loss levels. The position rose to about 75% of the profit target and stalled. Forming a clear resistance level. The lesson for me was along the lines of this video. Continue to monitor the position using simple chart analysis.

It's a really common mistake. A lot of people stop their analysis after the point of entry. A lot of things can change between you entering the trade and hitting any target you've set. Also, once you start thinking strategically about how you plan to exit a trade, it can open up all kinds of possibilities for the types of opportunities you can take.

Great video .. actually i also do same but little different… i book my 50% position when my trade is 2x my risk and hold remaining 50% with SL at breakeven.. then i let it roll till it moves and i observe price action on key areas .. if i see it weakening, i book remaining 50% too.

Still cant grasp the amount of subscribers you have.. you should have blown up years ago to 4 or 5x what you have now... Thanks Mikey, I appreciate that. I think it's because we haven't released videos regularly for quite a while. We did used to post live trading and weekly analysis videos a few years ago, but they were consistently the lowest views so we decided to just keep them for our community and mailing list since those are likely the people most interested anyway rather than casual viewers.

Nicholas' approach is the single one truly logical I could find on YT, the reasons it doesn't get more subscribers IMHO: 1) less or no clickbaiting 2) no get rich quick scheme 3) most videos focused on a single aspect and just scratching the surface, this things can't be covered in 15' or 30', the online course (even better: it's a development program, not just a course) has HOURS of videos just on the outcome probabilities estimation which will guide entry decisions, position sizing, exit strategy, in addition to trade examples. The only missing part is an online community, there used to be one in the previous version, miss it :(
