Thank you for this. Two of my cousins' kids are getting together this weekend, they only see each other once or twice a year. The 15 year old has come out as trans. We haven't seen him for three years due to lockdowns so he's got his new name and pronouns and it's all very exciting to be able to see him in his true form tomorrow. The other one is only 8 though. I know she'll be okay in the end but we want to explain it to her so that she's not awed but also, if she has any questions, this would be a good time to ask her 15 year old cousin, instead of listening to everyone else saying 'I heard..."

Finding this in 2022. Nephew just came out and trying to figure out how to tell my kids their cousin is going to change name soon and all that. And surprised there arent more videos about how to talk to kids aboutTrans person in their life. Thanks for this.
