I actually recommend create tours in Google Earth rather than in MyMaps. Check out my video on Family History Tours: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o3a4lKiPn89qo5I So, if someone has created a MyMap, it can be worth exporting it and importing it into Google Earth so that can it be expanded on as I demonstrate in this Google Earth video.

Does the network link mean that the untitled placemark shows in mymaps online??

My understanding is that it means if you make edits MyMap, they will show up in Google Earth. However, if you make edits in Google Earth, they do not show up in MyMap.
