How to Export to CSV in LibreOffice Calc

Libra Office info does not mention that it handles CSV files, just XLS-type files. How do you IMPORT a CSV file? I just want to import my exported iPhone Contacts, edit them, and import them back to iphone, which will probably be a nightmare too. It seems like Apple has done everything it possibly can to prevent compatibility with anything else. I'm looking at Samsung for my next mobile phone.

What am I missing? Mine doesn't have an option for text csv. In fact mine doesn't have Save as type option. It has a drop down menu in the lower right with some options of different files. But no option for text csv

You may want to use a newer version of Calc. What is your version? I'm currently using Version 24.2. You can check by going to Help -> About LibreOffice

@@officenifty Not sure at the moment. It’s been a while and I think I found it, but I’m not sure.
