The flowers are just too pretty to throw away after just one use. Still hoping for flower refill oil from Scentsy.

@@eddaharrison2030 I so agree. That would be a good idea for Scentsy to sell refills, they would make a fortune or I should say us consultants would make a fortune 🤩

Yes scentsy are very behind with ideas all they keep bringing out is silly Harry potter collection ergh boring old now. They need to ask the buyers what we want!

Thank You so much!!! The flowers are so pretty, that it seems like a total waste to throw them away after just one use.

Great video! Did the pier one last as long?
@eddaharrison20308 ай бұрын
It didn’t last as long as the Scentsy oil, especially the first try - probably didn’t put as much oil, but the second time it lasted several weeks. Thanks 😊

Thank you so much because I have four scentsy flowers and I already colored the tips with black magic marker when I first got them and the flower went from white, to black, dark purple, light purple, dark pink, light pink, then almost back to white again, but it ran out of oil. Now since your video I know I can add more scented oils in the scentsy jars, but I'd like to try and get a clear oil. I notice your oil looks brown and that may interfere with the color changes. So I'm definitely going to buy scented oils. Thanks again!!

Hello Rosemary --- so happy to receive your comment !!! I'm looking at my flower here, and I wish I could add a picture to my comment to show you. The petal colors are still there -- I ran out of oil in the bottle about 2 weeks ago, and I keep forgetting to refill. One of the oils I had purchased from Pier 1 was clear, but I used the dark one just to see the affect it would have. As the petals dry, the colors look washed out, but come right back to life when I refill the bottle. After the first refill, that only gave me 8 days, the same oil is now giving me a few weeks --- maybe has something to do with how dry the petals are when I add the oil. At some point, I would like to take several flowers together in one vessel (will have to find one suitable), and add oil to that vessel holding maybe 3 or 4 flowers to see how much better the throw is that way. Let me know which oil your try, and how it works out for you --- I'd love to know !! Thanks again for watching and commenting !!! Looking forward to hearing about your results.

Hello Rosemary, I hope you are doing well. Just wondering if you found yourself some clear oil for your flowers yet? If so, what kind did you get?

Do you fill the entire jar with just the essential oil or fill with water and add a few drops?
@eddaharrison20303 жыл бұрын
It’s actually Reed Diffuser Oil (refill bottle) that I purchased from Pier 1. I haven’t tried with essential oils and water - not sure how that might work.

Can you tell me what the oil your using is ?

Absolutely - it’s Reed Diffuser Oil I purchased from Pier 1. I hope the link works. www.pier1.com/collections/reed-diffusers

Hi Edda, yes I got clear oil for my scentsy flowers that had run out of oil. I filled their jars and guess what happened? For some reason the flowers, they were dry, did not absorb the new oil. What’s that about? Is it b/c I let them dry out from not having oil in the jars? I’m stumped with this one, Edda.

Hello --- thanks for coming back to share your flower info !!! That is really strange. When I did the experiment on my 1st flower, I let it dry for 2 weeks before coloring it (to make sure the petals were dry enough for me to color the edges). Once the oil runs out, sometimes I forget to refill it right away, so it may sit for a week or two before I refill it again. That same flower has been re-used/re-filled about 3 or 4 times now. It's actually sitting on my work desk right now, and it's been drying for at least a month ---- the petals and stem are completely dry. I'm going to re-fill the bottle again, and get back with you on the results -- since this is the longest I've let it sit without oil. Which oil are you using? I don't know that the brand of oil is affecting the performance, but I could try to purchase the same brand and see if I get the same results. I'll wait on refilling my bottle if I can possibly get the same one you tried to experiment with that.
