as per my understanding, you need to provide proof of financial support. You can either submit your own bank statements or use your family member's bank statement (if they are in Canada). If using your family members' statement, include a letter from them stating they will support you financially during your stay, along with proof of your relationship.

When you arrive in Canada the officer will stamp the date or entry.. And also they will stamp the day you need to leave.. If they don't stamp the day you need to leave. You are eligible to stay up to 6 months from the entry stamp date.... If you want to stay longer than 6 months you must apply for extension.
