What a great idea! It depends a bit on what you’d like to do. Are you thinking of using Nearpod as a way to present the story or use it to create activities to test students comprehension of the story?

@@jocelynonlineteachingnomad3819 thank you so much for the response 😭 I’m new to this since I stopped for about a year and now I’m coming back as a 3rd year college student and our teacher is giving us tasks to teach a class using nearpod and also using a short story as a topic.

@@jocelynonlineteachingnomad3819 and yes I’m planning to use nearpod to present the short story and as well as making the students engage in collaborative activities and to be honest, I’m not that good with this.

@@fritzpatricktulabing7563 interesting topic! Not sure how old your students are but It could be a good idea to use Nearpod to create an activity/activities to check for comprehension. You could upload a video of you reading a short story and then in the story/video you can add comprehension questions (the video will stop to allow students to answer the question). You can also create quizzes on a Nearpod or create a game called to climb games where students answer questions to help them reach the top of a mountain. That’s definitely a popular one with my younger elementary students. Best of luck with the assignment!
