If you don't have access to any local account you will need to call Nintendo Support but they can total unlock the system for you.

I just called nintendo it took 2 minutes to get a master code to remove the lock from my wii u the console is now factory resetting it says the process may take 30 minutes which it didn't it only took 10 minutes if that nintendo made it extremely easy thanks for making this video you save me a headache

Thanks GTK...I just reached out to Nintendo since the only profile was password locked and the Add New User was under Parental Pin. They answered immediately, were polite and patient, and waited for the full reset and then had me recalibrate for good measure....A breath of fresh air....They walked me through a temporary delinking of the profile that required a 16-digit security code that the rep gave me. Anyone know if that is generatable? This is different the salt master key.

A friend of mine got a used Wii U, but all accounts are locked not with Nintendo ID code, but with Parental Control PIN. Is this normal? I haven't got many details so I'm not sure yet if he reffers to the startup menu when selecting accounts, or when actually getting into the apps. The dude just says nothing can be done until we enter the PIN. Anyways I heard you can get the inquiry number if you fail to insert the correct PIN three times in a row, is this true? That might be the key to unlocking this one

It sounds like your system has been jail broken, which I don't recommend unless it is a spare and you just don't care. You may want to use all the other parts and just buy a replacement console, I have found them for as little as $26. Thanks for watching.

If you unlock a locked account it doesn't delete anything.

You need WiFi, your system by have a bad wireless unit, it may be time to buy a new unit, I have picked the main console for around $26.

This could be an issue with the console or the game pad. You should ask around and see if someone will let you borrow their game pad to connect to your system. If it won't connect then it is an issue with the console, if it lets you complete the system setup you will know that the issue is the game pad. You could also try to connect your game pad to someones system to see it will connect, if not you know it is the game pad.
