Thank you for this video! You just saved me so much time! If only the manufacturer had put this information on their website, life would be easier.

Just wanted to check if there is any other way to do, I have tried a laptop and a desktop top for some reason its not getting in to Boot menu, it will be a great help if you can share that too
@SPXLabs Жыл бұрын
@@jeetsarkar1989 You have to be very quick. As soon as the device gets power attempt to connect to it. There is no other way that I'm aware of.

I've been using the TP-Link switches for years for camera systems. All the school and government IT guys would rather pay 10 times the price for a Cisco, but these honestly work great. The TL-SG2428P is my go-to but I'm pretty sure it has no USB port. I've never used Omada even though it supports it, but there is no USB.

HI, i tried to unbrick a TPlink switch, but when i log into the console... i get "The kernel has been damaged! begin to fix kernel...Please put the uimage.img into the tftpserver directory" some idea where to get the image or you have an step-by-step guide? Thx
@SPXLabs Жыл бұрын
You should probably hit up TP-Link support. It's free and probably way faster.

Does T1600G-52PS support Omada SDN?

These are the only SDN supported switches that I’m aware of. www.tp-link.com/us/business-networking/omada-sdn-switch/

I have a TL-SG3428XMP (24 port PoE). When I connect the USB I get a "TP Link USB Serial Com Port" under Other Devices and no good driver. What drives do you use? The ones from TPLink "TP-LINK USB Console Drive" do not work. Support chat AND phone are completely useless, seriously it's a bad joke how bad they are.

If I was a business and had this set up and the entire network blew up because the controller overheated, and it took me DAYS to get back online, I would be fired, multiple times over!
@SPXLabs Жыл бұрын
I didn't install any drivers, it was all plug and play.
@dizzy49 Жыл бұрын
@@SPXLabs You must have installed some compatible drivers at some point, maybe for another project/video. Fresh Win10 and Win11 do not have drivers, and the drivers provided by TP-Link do not work on their newer models TL-SG3842X/XMP. Had to find a Serial-to-USB adapter, then it was super easy. TP-Link Support admitted the USB ports often have issues.

Windows may have installed drivers unbeknownst to me. I personally never downloaded and manually installed drivers is what I meant. I’m glad you got it worked out. I honestly wish there was more I could have done for you.
