Yes If they are digital purchased. Also you need to activate your new PS4 as the primary console. That means you need to deactivate the old one either before resetting or you can do it on Sony’s website remotely

No they save on your account. Everything you buy digitally saves on your ps account. When you sign in on another PlayStation it will be there. You will just have to re download it from your library. Movies save as well.

YAUR BUNGUDI It saves on your account lol, not the PS4 itself, after you reset, you need your actual sign in info for the new person to get to your info, which won’t happen without your password. Let’s say you get ps5, you can log into it with ya psn account & the person who buys the PS4 wont have that info of yours.

@@trapgamer2576 Yes you will, everything that is on the PS4 will be gone forever. I would STRONGLY recommend to either back up your data to the cloud with PS Plus memberships, or backup the data to a flash drive (USB) before factory resetting it. Hope this helps you!

@@evrsincee it does, it erases everything from your PS4, it makes it as if you bought it new from the store. The PS5 has an option in the initial set up to transfer data from 4 to 5 via a Ethernet cable. But yes, it does delete everything; hard drive will be complete wiped.

Pro Tip: Deactivate your PS4 as your Primary Console. If you don’t , the person who buys your system will have issues playing games offline, because even though you did a factory reset, the console is still the Primary System. Hope this helps cause I just got a message of OfferUp because for that

Be careful, My ps4 has been working fine for years, I’ve never had a crash or any issues but as soon as I went for a factory reset, my screen went black and now my PS4 is completely broken, I can’t turn it off with the button cause I get the three beeps and if I pull the plug and turn it back on its still stuck on the black screen even after leaving it on for an entire day nothing happens, and its not the HDMI cable or anything, the PS4 legitimately decided to commit suicide when I decided to sell the thing.
