Parents should allow their kids to have a small number of "personal days" per year; when you are an adult and work you are allowed personal days and nobody asks if you are really sick. As long as kids don't abuse it and keep up with their work, I think it helps them mentally to know that they can take a day without lying about being sick. Sometimes you just need a day to yourself to prevent you from actually getting sick-life is stressful, and taking a break is good mentally for everyone.

sweets08816 the thing is, we had a day where we go look at a list of what class we have to go (it kinda was a special day) some had to go baking some had to train dancing (everyone had to dance at 17.00 in front of war veterans or someshit) i wasnt scared of the dance at ALL it was just a couple easy steps. i was scared because i didnt know where the fuck to go because some of the lists were ripped off the wall and im pretty shy so no asking teachers. so i decided to fake a cold (succeeded) i promised to go dancing tho but you know what? lets just keep playing fuk dancing. i regret this cause if i cant fake a cold tomorrow im fucked AND ill get even more unpopular (which is a miracle in itself) so yeah, just wanted to let this out.

I have anxiety and school is so overwhelming at times, however if I explain this to my mom she’ll say “I don’t understand what’s wrong, you can ask a teacher to let you in the hallway because you have anxiety” and I’m like Boi I can’t. My teachers never understand either. Just because my hand isn’t up doesn’t mean I’m not paying attention. Some days I just need a day to myself, or a day to relax and clean, Read, paint, etc. I agree, school should give each student 2 personal days in a semester (or 2 quarters? Idk what other schools do)

It’s been 5 year but I think this will work. If you feel sick, the teachers says not to go to school but my moms not like that. So I’ve been acting sick so when I do this tomorrow, she will believe me. There’s a lot of kids out and it’s been boring. Even though it’s boring, school have been over working the kids that are not quarantined. I just need a mental break. I’m not going to join online classes like they want us too, imma just relax with no stress. Wish me luck!!

you can also stay up the night before so when you wake up your tired and have drowsy eyes so even if you go to school the teacher will usually notice and send you home.

TheSacredBush Unfortunately no. My older sister and her mate takes care of my little sister and I. They make us do it for about 10 minutes if we say we are sick. But she makes a google classroom so they both put in assignments for my little sister and I. It was worth a shot though.

The makeup part was really helpful, but let me add some things... 1. Rub your forehead or blow your forehead with a hair dryer so when people touch it, it seems like you have a temperature 2. Fake cough (it is not that hard to do) 3. Keep blowing your nose even if you don't really have to (just for show) 4. Make your voice intentionally soft and kind of weak 5. Hold her head at random times and complain that it is hurting 6. Make some fake vomit out of egg whites, cheese, soup and other stuff you normally eat and dumb it down a toilet and say you 'vomited' 7. Hold your stomach and spend hours inside the bathroom 8. Poke your food around no matter how tasty it looks And yeah!
