I've been debating which build to do for the past couple days and since I've a 6 white socket Eternity shroud lying around I keep coming back to a self cast arc, just wasn't sure how well this would handle tough legions and metamorph. @@bikesnblades6737 Vaal Arc is where the real money is at, you can clear legions in 1 cast and I like using Vaal storm call to kill bosses since you will already be set up for vaal skills and it can have insane single target dps. However, Im not sure how it would work with the eternity shroud since you already need quite a set up for 100% reduced soul gain prevention

Another recommended build, but a little on the expensive side to scale (around 3 Ex for a basic setup all the way to 130 Ex to minmax) is an Essence Drain Contagion Trickster. With enough single target to melt the bosses at the side, spreading 1-3 of those ED Contagion AoEs can trigger the entire Legion Encounter with several seconds to spare.

Selling the emblems might not even be the most profitable way to run this money making system. People are farming 5ways for a reason, those Timeless pride jewels are big money still. Just saying if emblems drop in value due to over supply, yall might wanna just use them yourselves, and go jewel hunting :) Great video btw, if i hadnt just rerolled into a build that wont be so great at legions i would be all over this :)

Chris Klooz You are absolutely correct about that :) Currently it’s actually better to run the 5-ways if your build can handle it but it’s a big step up from clearing normal legions to consistent 5 ways unless you are running a self curse HH build.

People are not farming 5-ways for profit, at least not in MSC. Sets cost 2.5ex each, and even if you dropped 3 timeless jewels each run you still wouldn't even come close in making profit. The legion jewels are really not that profitable compared to the set prices. In legion a full set cost 2ex, yet it was not profitable at all to run them solely for loot. The main reason why people run 5-ways is for exp, as with a HH+self curse carry it is by far the fastest way to get to 100.

It is capable of fast legion and map clearing, but u might get teleported to the other side of the map if there are still mobs around when u spawn the legion before full clear the area

Gonna try this on ps4 once i get my legion mod unlocked. Not sure if it will work with vd and ps4 lag but, I bought a winged scarab for 50c and rolled a legion sextant ramdomly. If I can't well just out 50c.

@@Dances4589 Running T14-16s, killing sirus, bit of everything. I got one now but I had to sell most of my gear on my alt. I just kept spending all my currency as I made it. How did you do it?

@@codesymphony I would recommend a few things: 1. Make a build that doesn't take much to gear up to t16. I'm talking trappers, miners, minions even. Get it to the point where it farms juiced t16s and STOP. Dont invest more currency. 2. Focus on a game mechanic. Many people say to do several league mechanics (Alva, Jun, Niko, etc...) but I got more success focusing on one at a time. I farmed t16 maps with legion and sold the splinters. The splinters alone in t16 covered the 6c and then some. Everything else was pure profit. Once you get about 5ex, get some polished legion scarabs and add that to the map, your profit with skyrocket. 3. By that point, I farmed enough to get half of the HH so about 3-4 days. Then I went deep delving. I ran sulphite rotations and went to around depth 400. Sell the fossils you get in BULK. People pay more for bulk. 4. Rotate between these two when you get bored of one or the other. You play more and can do more when you're actually enjoying what you're doing. Do Sirus and the guardians whenever they pop up for side money. Awakeners Orbs weren't that rare and the occasional awakened gem was profit off of what I was already doing.

Interesting, Summit map has not exploded up in price yet, brobally becose of orb of horizons, but , theres potential possibility to price manipulate the price up this, for the map trader to get the profits from this farming method, aswell from manipulating price of Horizon orbs, and Legion scarabs, Those three things, is what will stop this farming method, yet again, to become worthless, question is, who will be the person, to Try to Dominate orb of horizons, summit maps , etc etc, so that they go up in price so much, that you wont make that 55c profit per map, you could tecnically caclulate, that hey, lets raise the total value of orb of horizons, scarabs, and summit maps, to the point, that you would only make 10c profit with this method, even then people would do it. but yeah, theres plenty of readroom for a Price manipulator to go and cut slice of that pie now, that you shared your method and data out of it. this helps people to flip prices . if this Method gets known as Burial Chambers, then yeah, nobody will sell Scarabs cheap, orb of horizons cheap, or summit maps cheap, cose that way, they will take a cut of your profits.

with this strat you would still need like 24hrs played to farm a head hunter. w/o hh this strat would be more like 250 chaos per hr. so you kinda realize how pointless it is as a casual to get to this level. i avg around 4days played per league. and i still have around 2k hrs played. i've farmed a head hunter once when i was at home and could play alot several years ago and after that i never tried again.

Cyclone builds work, especially something like a cast on crit assassin. I have a double-strike gladiator with bleed explosions who does legions decently. My main issue is you can't off-screen stuff, so the travel time, even with super fast 10 challenger charges + whirling blades it's hard to pop all the monsters in time because you run into terrain and shit getting in your way. My guy 1 shots big packs, it's just getting to them all as a melee character that makes it hard. You could try something that literally covers the whole screen like some of the tectonic strike builds.. not sure how well those do but in my head it seems viable if you are like me and don't like cyclone.

If you run a four way fight for the legion encounter (take the splinters and turn them into emblems and then put four of the 5 emblems into your map device), you'll get the fifth slot. Then you can run the 5 way fight which gives you huge rewards.

If you are a new player you just have to pray to RNGesus while sinking half your life into the game to make any currency. Every video I watch on making currency you pretty much have to already have alot of money to even come close to whats explained.

Unfortunately POE is like that. The rewards you can expect scale exponentially the more powerful your character becomes, and character power is heavily linked to currency investment for most builds. But I think even most veteran players need to invest heavy hours to generate big currency - with some few exceptions for top-tier item flippers/crafters/etc. That said, I think the game is just as enjoyable early league or if you can't invest long hours into playing.

Sorry, but I don't buy it when people do this "nah the games ez I make 50 ex a day as a casual" stuff. Yes, if you know what you're doing *AND* you have the time, you can make relatively big and relatively easy profits. "Casual" players aren't doing that.
