The best mid-late game farm is using a drill and running around farming iron nodes. You can make ~75k energy an hour if you're moderately efficient. It's even better with furnace specializations and a solar drill. Personal best is a little over 100k/hr. EDIT: energy/hour value was way undersold.

@@techtom2171 There are some spots where there's so much iron you can run a circuit because it respawns so fast. If you get a T3 solar drill and get lucky with furnace specializations you can craft a stack of iron in 45 seconds.

In the early game you can sell tea, it´s pretty cheap to make and you get 45 for each one

There is a nice spot west of Sutherland Chemical Plant where you find the frog deviation. You can plop down a house there and it is absolutely packed with flowers. It's also by a lake and littered with "royal palm trees". made about 50 tea in 5mins.

In order to reset any of these specializations, you need a special controller that is wintered only from season goals, and one per week, which is quite annoying

You can also sell silver ingots for 6k each, and gold ingots for 12k(I think not at gold yet)and there’s 5 merchants you can sell to in different settlements each have a 50k limit

Bronze pickaxe is the best to sell. Bronze is easy to make, and is the cheapest hide cost. 3 bronze pickaxes can be crfted at the cost of 1 steel. eventually you can get to the point where 1 less input is worth, but very early game bronze is the best bang for the buck. raw ingots are not worth selling at all. I could not find any info on the combo ship set so thanks for the info

for the 4th specialization, right now the change it to Precious Metal Refining to smelt Gold n Silver Ores. No more Combo chipset, idk if 5th or so on have that combo chipset.

Thanks for the help! I had troubles unlocking things because I ran out of energy faster than I ran out of ciphers. This knowledge should hopefully fix that problem for me. I didn't even know about specializations, so that part alone made this video worth watching!

im really conflicted on this. this trait comes on my lv30 spec, but it also comes with treasure hunter drill (+100% yield when mining gold/silver/stardust ore) and i have solar drill trait (recharge battery on sunny days, +15%-40% yield when mining copper/tin/iron/aluminum/tungsten ore). currently weighing how bad do i need the ELs, or if i should just go for the drill combo

@@zeddiy8888 I would say the best chance is to not chose any until level 50. That would insure you don't get any duplicates in your choices (once you choose 1, I believe the three unchosen go back into the random pool). So, get to level 50, check all the choices you have. Chipset should be in there. Then, just choose from the 9 other slots.

It's odd that we get different choices for these tiers, that or they've removed the combo chip set. That's one of the most questionable design choices I've seen in my 40 years of gaming.

I find gold and silver ore and make o gots to sell. The silver sells for 6k a ingot and the gold is 12k a ingot. They are not hard to find.

This is bad way there is a way to get links way faster than this. Salt is terrible. Get in to higher lvl cooking and farming. Tea sells for 45. Water and plants you find at river
