about the "warning" when you upgrade inventory, delete the "S BOOSTER" upgrade to avoid it, and for augmentation only upgrade? just scrap 3 cheap A class ships and you will get 9 augmentation each ships scrapped ♥ hugs to all on chat and this is the best No Man Sky channel !

This scrapping glitch was recently patched out. So you can only interact with the terminal one time per ship. Also, @JasonPlays they are about to change it back to where Explorers are the highest Hyperdrive rating ship, and they'll be over 300 light year range if it's outfitted right. It's on experimental now and will change with the next update.

I went after that ship yesterday. Flipping those haulers and fighters on an all-night grind left me with maxed units and 400,000 nanites. But I also saved all my inventory augmentations that you get from scrapping some ships. I have hundreds of storage augmentations, which makes it free to max out the slots on the exotics I’ve bought.

Yes, the white color of the ship's hull is very cool. In any star system, the glimpses of the atmosphere look absolutely phenomenal. I also bought a white one for myself, and I am very happy with the white squid. You have white and silver , I have white and gold. I leave the engine slots only with maneuverability-12, for a jump of 245. and this, greetings from Saint Petersburg.

When you're selling the scrap, you can avoid market crashing the items by selling it to the pilots down by the ships. Without the drop in payout you can scrap in one place until you get bored with it.

I did this exact thing and worked great. I would add that after this, I just went to the nearest T3 system, went to a trade outpost, grabbed an S Class Explorer 19+6 and did this same thing. I noticed that it also got shield modules instead of just the 2 you get from the exotic. Maybe carry extra S Class Modules, apply them to a ship before starting this, multiply all your nanites. More specifics: Ship cost 1.8mil, I also received Chromatic Metal and about 44 Space Augs. I seem to get 30k Nanites from doing just random S Class ships from T3 Trade Outposts. And about 40mil after purchase price.

I just recently got No Man's Sky a few days ago...only put about 24 hours into is so far and got my first Exotic the other day. It's basically a little ball with short wings but it is super fast. It looks a lot like this exotic but minus the long point on it. Including the 1 that I have, I have seen it 3 times. The first time was at a Trade Outpost on my home planet not far from my base. I didn't have the Units to get it. The second time was at the same spot and I paid like 12.5 mil to get it. Then, just yesterday, I had one fly and dock at my Capital Ship for a moment.

I can verify this still works. I did this for about an hour or two and ended up with 57 aug slot upgrades and a ton of engine/hyper upgrades. Got 15k nanites for them plus I kept a few for my ships. My exotic fighter has 48 cargo and 21 tech slots. I had to spend 120 mill but I got 80 back in scrap.

I never really thought about it before, but the ship scrapper shows you all the ship design parts your ship is made of....in the case of the exotic, how the designer stsrted w the round ball core and slapped a bunch of universally shared parts to make a specific configuration. I HOOOOOOPE so bad they make a ship builder/customizer in a future update.

Jason I keep putting in the augments like Hyperdrive untill I get the best so I have 6 that are 243 Ly. Shield max out at 320 so only have 5 on my ship leaves more room for other stuff. Also I always use the Salvage for space instead of spending money, but that's just me. Awesome video once again

The max upgrades happen on a regular basis. Each 7th or 9th (test it out to see when) one you install will be a max, no matter the class. So you can "burn" 6 c class, install the maxed out s class, do it again... I have an average of 235LY on mine, but with some work and patience i could squeeze 98LY on top of what i have because i can get 248LY upgrades (tested it). So... That's the next thing I'm doing :) upgrading the ships to have max range!

One more comment then I'm done. Jason, have you noticed that when you move the Hyperdrive, the Drive units (Indium, etc.) the upgrade modules, and the craftable upgrades around, you can maximize your hyperdrive MORE than if it's just configured in a straight line. What I've found is, if the Hyperdrive is touching ONLY one S Class Upgrade module, it will give =30 bonus or so. each drive unit (Indium, etc.) touches ONLY one S class upgrade, it increases around 10 or more, and the other craftables are about the same, but lower, adds around 5 or so. in other words, you can gain over 50 more hyperdrive rating by just moving your modules around and playing with how it can be configured. I put the three s classes in each space like you showed, but then put the drive units in the tech and the hyperdrive itself and the upgradable in the general, and got over 50+ bonus. I have no idea why.

Jason!!! If you do the sell glitch with a friend in the same lobby. Your friend can take the ship you sold. You can give away the ships you scrap. Best part is if your friend has a maxed out ugly ship they can transfer the class/storage from their current ship just by hopping into your scrapped ship flying it into their freighter. They will lose the old ship.

You are dont look at hyperdrive range of your module, when you erased him. Had reach up to 239 ly and surely you have a couple of worse ones that you could cancel instead. I have explorer with hyperdrive range 2616,6 ly with 6 S-class hyperdrive modules, because it depends not only on size range of modules (min is 200, max is 249), but also on their relative position.

Oh I found a glitch with the scraping glitch. It takes a little exposing though. When I was really early in the game I was lucky and found an S class fighter. It was named Aegis of the Void. (This was before the beyond update) so when I upgraded to Beyond all my old ships glitches out. But now, I scrapped them all. So I used the glitch to get as much as I could out of them. Then later I found a random A class ship and sold it. Then something weird happened. I got the Aegis of the Void back. I was super confused. I then figured I could do the same glitch on it and get more things. Guess what? After I sold it I got an exotic with the same name. And then another starship, with the same name. After that it went back to my main hauler. After I sold all those things I left because I had to get off. Then when I got back on, I did the scrap glitch again, and well the Aegis was back. In the end I think I figured out how to do it. First, you need another person in the game, then you need to find a random A class (fighter I think works the best) then sell it. Now I don’t know if you need an S class to make it work, but before you buy the A you need to sell a glitched star ship from before the beyond. At least a year old. Then sell the A class with another ship in the space station then you should get back your old S starship. Maybe you could do a video on this to see if this is real or something cause it is really weird. Also when ever I leave the game the glitched S exotic always disappears then I just do the glitch again to get it back.

Not that hard to make money anyway, less than a week and have 4m-5m, a decent multitool, lots of upgrades and inventory space, up to my 2nd frigate atm. Mostly focused on story and language, or I would have more.

And my main income was from 3x S class scanner upgrade and ancient bones. just a heades up, Wwile selling your upgrade moduals for nanites, if you put your cursour on the item you want, and use left/right d-pad keys, you can actually select how many you sell, you just cant see any indication of it other than selling price.

Just fly to a rich system if you dont have the glyths, you will need a scanner in your ship to identify the system. Remember there are a few names for rich systems. Will find in planet depots with any landing pads....

this ship exists in the system shown, but NOT at the station. scan for trade outpost, save scum. got one of these exotics today at the trade outpost. fwiw, i farmed the station extensively and had no luck. farmed the trade post for an hour or so, save scumming and got the ship.

Don't Forget on top of the 6s class Parts you can put in there you can also put in the upgradable parts that you can build for the hyperdrives as well and the pulse engines so on top of the six you get two more pulse engine parts and for more hyperdrive parts which would increase the hyperdrive I think 70 more light years and make the pulse engine more fuel efficient

I experienced a strange glitch last night while doing this. After I scraped the ship that I brought to the space station the maximum number of times I could, it gave me a free ship! Where normally once you've reached max slots used in inventory and one of the other ships you own appears in the Starship modifier, a totally different ship appeared that I'd never owned before. And even better, it was worth $35,000,000! So I was able to scrap a ship that I didn't even own before and never paid for! This happened to me three times over the course of two days. The third time I decided to save the ship since I kind of liked it and it was a tiny ship that was A class and had 38/12 inventory. I flew it around for awhile and found another fighter I wanted. I straight out bought the fighter and then the ship they had given me just disappeared! It never showed up back in my freighter so I don't know what the heck was up with all that. Anyone else experience this?

So I had to start all over with the last major update cause my game lagged so bad and couldn't get it to correct itself. So I appreciate the synthesis glitch/exploit vid. It's let me buy all my stuff from anomaly and in the process of scrapping ships, I found a s class hauler. Then a second one I scrapped for s class mods for the one I wanted. This has helped me get started so much quicker! Thank you

When selling mods you can press left or right on the D pad to sell less of what you have in your inventory. Also, update 2.23 may have put a stop to the starship scrap exploit. Don't know for sure yet, game is updating atm.

Confirmed, there is now a cool down to interact with the starship scrapper. Now if only @HelloGames would increase the rng of distress signals having crashed starships at the site, then hunting for them would be enjoyable. But seeing that it's dumb luck to find 1 in 10 I don't waste my time with transmission towers anymore.

dont care about the glitch, but as for the exotic spawning- can confirm after over 100 reloads at the space station it doesnt spawn first wave. hell, i waited 10mins minimum each time, it never flew in once.

The scrap glitch seem to be fixed, but you can still get the ship, scrap it, wait and buy it again. for 7mil you can get 3 inventory slot which is cheap next time the ship is 10 mil if you have money it doesn't matter too much

Despite the exploit being patched, this is still useful. I'm lucky enough to have a space station in my teleporter that always spawns an exotic ship as the first to land, although very rarely it will be 2nd or 3rd, which is still fine. Anyway, I just buy, scrap, autosave, load autosave, repeat. Still lots of nanite clusters and/or hyperdrive/pulse drive upgrades.

Do you get more units/nanites scrapping an S ship than what it costs buying it?

@@melapelantodoss No, you lose money, but not a whole lot since Exotics cost between 5 and 12 million units, and you get back materials worth around 75%, around 2 million unit loss on average. I was getting two S class upgrade modules, usually one Pulse Drive and one Hyper Drive, along with a storage augmentation or two most of the time, though occasionally zero augmentations.

@@melapelantodoss It's really the most practical way to add slots to your ship. I managed to get my squid up to 48/21 slots and max out hyper and pulse drive modules, just by scrapping the same exotic space station spawn over and over.

You don’t have to just sell the upgrades. You could install and deconstruct them to get materials. Might be a better way if you are just going to be a scrapper then you get material back to repair a new ship. Without the glitch.

Playing on Xbox One X. That glyph combo takes me to a whole different system; Emecuss. And there are no exotic ships.. EDIT: I am not in the starting Universe. Once I realized this, it now makes sense. Great video nonetheless.

Mr Bull If you want to go back to the starting galaxy try to join your friends game. It will say you can’t then open up your single player game and go to the anomaly. Then you can teleport to one of your old bases.I don’t know if he’ll work for you but it works for me

No, I’ve been trying this but to no avail. I literally got it after playing for only a few days. I’m trying to get portal glyphs so I can just go to a system with a high spawn rate, but it’s taking awhile

I haven't gotten to do this but a couple of hours and got over 150,000 nanites from farming first wave exotics, and got over a billion credits, but that pales in comparison to the amount of credits I got in Augmentation Units. I have over 200 Augmentation chips and that could mean up to 400,000,000 credits worth of upgrade slots. I'll never use them all, so it'll be something I'll give away in the nexus, because they're not worth that if you sell them. LOL

I'm able to work around that but it's a bit costly. I created a new auto save file and reload the game and then a new exotic ship will show up which then I can buy it but it means I'll have to pay over 6 million units per ship every time I buy a new one just to scrapped to get the resources.

Maybe a bit pointless but on console if you want to choose how many modules to sell. I think it's the d-pad to lower or increase the amount. Still though OP glitch lol thanks had a laugh with this on an old save. Ps does anyone else still feel the dark areas in freighters and buildings are still too dark? Just my eyes? 😂

After you scrap it do a quick save on your ship, reload the save, buy, scrap, save, reload save, etc, so you need at least 100,000,000 units to make this profitable. You’re going to end up with many ship parts you don’t really need so just sell them that way you recover some of that money back
