So the portal gliphs are: Bird Bird Dragonfly Black hole Jelly fish (or sunrise) Boat Dinosaur Spider Bird Baloon (reverse drop) Tri force Dinosaur You will arrive to Yangr, leave the planet and reach its moon: Bergha Prime. Minor Settlement coords are: -24,64 / -110,01. If the MT is not there, go to space station, reload the autosave and go back there. It will spawn in the box. TheLegendaryWolf nope, there’s tons of exotics per system. Not sure if you’ve realized that by now or not. I’ve been in the same system for over a week now simply because the ships are 100% better than I normally get in booming economies. I got 3 exotics at the same time, then 2 different S class fighters landed at the same time. That was loud as hell! Over the course of the last week, I’ve been farming the same S class and exotics. I just head off to the anomaly for the personal reproduction trick...come back with a few hundred augmentations, max out the S classes and exotics, and sell them off. I was actually backlogged for a few days. Running around trying to get augmentations to max these things out, when another KZbin channel taught me the anomaly trick to duplicate things. :) I play with my network closed until I enter the anomaly. From this, I’m fairly certain no one has been farming my system. Not that they would, but you never know.

I found a system with cheap s class fighters. 2.500 milion up to 3.5 milions for Basic S classe 17 or 19+5. Ideal for scraping and taking free cargo space update for other ship.

15:46 You're scanner and mining beam are not set up the same. You were able to see the scanner changes but didn't notice the pattern, the modules give bonuses to those next to them. Better modules give better bonus. So in your scanner you found the best results were in getting S class modules to all boost them and to boost the best class modules from the best class modules. You couldn't see the mining beam so you just followed a different pattern. But you would want all your S class mods to touch each other in a square. Then extend it into a rectangle with the A class module and the base technology.

You know, you could increase the buffs for your ship and multi-tool if you put things together in a T-shape, where the top center has the base equipment (like shields) and the other three surrounding slots are upgrades for that equipment. You have your hyperdrive in the proper arrangement for maximum stat boosts, but the other components need rearranging.

You have some fantastic tutorials. I have a suggestion for possibly the fastest method for money in the game: trading. The best thing about this is that it does not smell like an exploit, it is a legitimate route to riches (unlike the cobalt market crash exploit). 0. Mine cobalt during your tutorial phase to sell, possibly refine it to ionized cobalt (not required, but more starting capital = faster income). 1. Unlock and install the economy scanner for your ship. 2. Warp to 3-star economy systems of different types (the economy symbol: economy, power generation, etc.). 3. Visit the station in each system to unlock it as a teleportation destination. Once you have 2 wealthy economy stations: 1. Buy the most expensive/underpriced commodity that you can in your current system. 2. Look up what economy wants that commodity on the wiki. Anything but the same type of system is still profitable, so at the start that is an option. 3. Teleport to that system (via the teleportation portal, don't warp with your ship). 4. Sell your goods and repeat. At the start you will only need 2 systems, because you are so poor. Drain them of all their money/resources. Easy 5-10mil starting from ~50,000 in about 30 minutes. Unlock more wealthy economy stations and repeat. This META scales to 300mil.

The more sides touching each other is better, so using the 4 in a square is better, will be the same for the mining beam. Just putting stuff around it won't always work the best. I find put the core item and the 3 bought modules in a square block and add any blueprint upgrades anywhere else touching them

FYI when your installing mods on anything, place the lettered mods (S,A,B,C) next to each other n a block so they are all touching to get the maximum benefit from them. For instance S, S S, C, photon cannon

Need an updated vid for desolation. Currently, my 3 carries are (#2 is most relevant here): My daily use, my derelict salvage blaster, and an uberscanner. 1) Alien MT - my daily carry, with great damage and mining, and good scanning. I like beam, plasma launcher (outdoors only), and pulse spitter. 2) Custom RNG S24 MT: I specifically built this exclusively for DERELICT FREIGHTER SALVAGE. First off, NO PLASMA (suicidal indoors). Next, you only need basic scanning on derelicts, so ditch the S-mods. For the rest I like Beam (clearing pustules & aggroing at med n long range), scatter blaster (1-shots everything at close range, and 5-shots turrets at close range), and blaze javelin paired with combat scope (one-shots orbs at med range). 3) I forget the chassis name (experimental or advanced), but it has 50%+ more scanning range than the Alien MT ... and sometimes that comes in handy, like for those annoying Nexus 'fetch the mcguffin' weekly missions.

I am thinking of having one experimental multitool that specializes in mining, scanning, terraforming and finding the hotspots. It would have maybe a boltcaster for emergencies if suddenly attacked and don't want to switch scanners. I'd have 2 alien multi tools. One is a safe gun. It would have multiple weapons built in and a personal force field but no plasma granades or geology cannon. The other alien multitool would be my crazy gun. It would have plasma granades built in and some weapons.

So apparently the ideal is to get an Alien Rifle for damage, and Experimental Pistol for scanning and mining. :o Pistols have the highest bonus to scanning, and the experimental version give added value there... And since you wont get to use all the upgrade slots for scanning, you have room for mining upgrades. Rifles have the highest bonus to damage, the alien variant gives added bonus there, and rifles have much more space for upgrades, allowing them to get upgrades for literally any weapon mode available in the game. So now i know what to look for, i found a shitty S class alien pistol today, which made me google it, hence why i'm here. Sadly that pistol didn't have maximum number of upgrade slots available, but it was cheap enough to add to my collection as my third multi tool, to show off to my friends when we play together. xP

That base is still there checked it out. There is a S class tool there but not the one you showed. I'm going to reload the save see what happens. What the hell I reloaded and there was a different S class than the first one but still not the white exp. I flew back to the planet saved reloaded and went back to the station and when the case opens there is no tool lol. Just totally empty. I guess that's normal I have no idea. I always thought the tool was always there. I must have never looked before. Well so far I have two different S class and my A class still has better scan. I gotta find that experimental. My Alien one does a lot of damage but mining sucks.

Hello Jason ! Thanks to you, I managed to get this experimental multi tool. I had to reload, switching from planet to next planet 4 times only to make it spawn. Btw, I tried your previous video, before Synthesis, to get the last Alien multi tool you shared with us, but it didn’t work, giving only B-class normal multi tools , so my question is : does the spawn change with each new extension, like Next, Beyond, Synthesis and your previous video on localisations of thing are out of date each time there is a new extension, or is this still working and I’m just not lucky and I have to try more times again to get an Alien Multitool ? Or if you can just share another coordinates for an Alien one ?

not sure what i'm doing wrong, followed the instructions verbatim and only wound up with C class, tried different planets and different reloads including reload, save on different planet, reload and then hit station, tried different tactics for 2.5hrs.... I must be missing something...
