Tombat is much better as Digtois tends to eat alot and after 2-5 spin they will rest. Tombats will work 24/7 and can transport on their own as long as you have food.

Digtoise is amazing for a pocket miner. In base he only does 1 DMG per hit on his spin but when you throw him out of your party he does around 18-20, when you activate his partner skill it bumps up to 35 DMG a hit. Also he doesn't stop spinning until you cancel the partner skill. Fastest hands on miner in the game when used correctly. As a passive though he's terrible.

If you are high enough to catch digtoises you are high enough to slap bees for their honey, breed yourself a bee or two for honey production, then breed for anubis. An army of anubis is amazing, they don't tend to get stuck on crap like the turtle will either.

Don't use Digtoise. See those 1s. Yeah hes doing the minimum amount of dmg. And gets after 25 hits, 1 ore. Meanwhile any level 2 miner will get an ore in 2-3 hits. I use Reptyro. 1 to 1 hit/ore ratio. Put 4 of em around and boom 100s of ore in minutes.

Nah Digtoise with the headband that unlocks at lvl 19 is better hands down. Breaks full ore rocks in 2-3 seconds. All of those 1s turn into 25s. Hundreds of ore in about 30s if you and friends have headbands

Just fly around the volcano until you gave a shit ton of fire eggs. Open them up and get a lot of the fire armadillos and fire witch cats and do the same thing. It won't work any faster. But these pals are significantly cooler.

Actually digtoise is glitch right now that's why he only does 1 damage to ore when it should be around 20. So using reptyro(fire armadillo) is a bit faster then digtoise

Digtois is one the best mine Pals for afk tbh. Put one on your pal team and remove other pals so they wont consume your foods. Summon him at base and he will do the mining, each tick will do around 15-20 damage instead of 1 when he in pal box. You can also increase his mining efficiency by upgrading his damage by leveling up. Before going afk make sure to have food in your feed bag.

But that requires you to stay at the base. Just use a bunch of anubis and 2 pals for an automated berry farm and youre good to go. They farm the ore really fast, after they destroyed every rock they auto collect the ore and they wont get hungry that fast. So you can do other stuff. And if you wanna do this why not on a other spot, while your ore base just farms? Double the ore in the same time. And you can breed anubis as early as lvl 20, so at around the time you unlock the second base

Its better overhaul to use tombats for early game until level 19 and then breed for 5 anubises to replace them and pretty much have two berry farms in place and you can also breed a anubis and a vanwyrm to get falaris for his level 3 kendeling and level 3 transporting makeing sure that you also have a furnace down and also a few wooden boxes not on the ore nodes but around them were you want them to be itll make it easier for them to transport the ore to the boxes really quick and easy and then smelt the ore in a furnace and then if you want to transport it to one of your other bases but if you want you can also keep a production line at it too to make certain stuff sense you can also create charcoal too while the anubises are breaking the ore and if you want to you can even add more anubises then just 5

Digtois are currently bugged when being set to a base. You can see their damage is all "1" If you throw one from your part it'll do much more damage than a full 15 team of base Digtoise. So yeah, Tombats are the best early game miners. The area recommendation is great though.

Remember pals go to the closest box so make sure you put it close to the pal box in case you have to go to different bases with material and I learned that flying pals get stuck less if you get to fulll make a stand or tower to get to the boxes easier with a grappling hook than dropping stuff like when you make like ignots I use the hawk and trainer duo to make my ignots and plus make sure nothing gets in the path of your pals so they don't get stuck as much and make sure to add least one planter and waterer and pal to gather the wheat or berries so you don't have to look for food in the map but you will have to restock it so I'd put the food box close to your chest but not to close so the pals don't get stuck on the boxes

digtoises currently are actually SUPER inefficient prob because of a bug. ive seen people testing them on a mining base, and they farmed literally nothing when the player wasn’t there. i personally use anubis because they’re great workers.

I’m not sure if I’m the only one with the problem but the pals on other bases (that’s not my main) would not farm unless I was either inside the base or literally right outside it, so it got to a point where I do everything myself now as they just won’t do shit definitely a problem with Xbox same with the map not loading in tried playing the game on my mates pc and I had no issues at all, pc players really are blessed out here 😂

Catch 4 to 5 digtoise then do what has been said here, in addition, place a pal that can plant seeds, harvest, water and transport. Now you don't have to go back regularly to place down food on the food box, digtoise eats a lot.

Basically base mining 4 Anubis's will clear the ore outs before the next spawn. Assuming 6 or so nodes. Leveled up they are super Frontline base defenders vs raids. And he is by miles the fastest crafter. For cave mining Though cant beat the Digtoise

that is only in your party not in base look at the video the ones set to the base are only doing 1. the band is an active skill not a passive type it does not transfer to base pals. "increases efficiency" means because it doesnt stop spinning so its more efficient when used. its not a passive effect

Digitoise is a waste of time they have high mining but they do butt all for damage, basically tickling the ores. Use tomcats, anubis for both day and night farming. But if you have the digtoise helmet and use him in your party whole other story, will chew through piles

Ignore the digtoise. They absolutely suck at afk mining, seriously. They're meant for active mining, meaning when you have it in party and with you while you mine manually. At that level Tombat or Dumud is a lot better, digtoise will struggle to damage the ore nodes.

actualy the best way to farm iron is doing urself, reason why is cause to get a chunk u need to do a certain amount of dmg, digtoise for sample spams 1 dmg 10 times /sec, if u use iron pick u deal 80-90 dmg, and am not even talking bout better gadget or using pals moves, now i get u want to automate it, but keep in mind that u will be giving up other sources in exchange, also breeding is partly better then capturing due the mixed results of getting pals, cause breeding give over their traits, if u use a commonpal with a rare pal, u can get another rare pal but with the traits u want, same story with rare epic and other raritys, but for that u need cake, wich u need eggs, milk, honey, berrys and wheat, aka this alone already takes a bit of time to get cake, breeding also gives u the capture quest effect

Place a palbox base near ore. Use grappling hook to jump to all ore nodes mine them then zip back to palbox and Tele back to main base. I have 2 main bases and a free base I use to bring any ore type back to base. Same with frost ore. Place palbox, zip to all ore,mine it, zip back to box and Tele out 💯🤙

Digitoise is the worst miner for bases. The best way to mine ore is either use digtoise in UR TEAM or fill your team with Mining Foreman pals and do it yourself. With 5 pals woth minign foreman and a refine pickaxe you do around 500 per swing

Digtoise is bugged af - get reptyro. All you need is a flyer a bit of heat resist - go to obsidian mountain and look for large scorching eggs. They contain vanwyrm, reptyro, ragnahawk and wixen - all useful pals in early to mid-game. If you find a huge dragon egg out there hatch that sucker! It's a jormuntide ignis - the game's only natural kindling 4 pal (currently).

Digtoise is bugged atm so its not good to use him unless you use him manually ftm

In my single player save I tried throwing mine out at the ores and it still does 1dmg

People need to stop suggesting Digtoise until he gets fixed. Dumud is the best Miner until Anubis/Reptyro. Tombat is pretty good, but I swear Tombat has SAN issues.

Digtoise worked fine for me temporarily. I mainly use Anubis now though

Using anubis or Tombat is way more efficient than digtoise. He is Def glitches or something

Don’t use digtioise its currently bugged to do only 1 damage when used through a palbox use tombat instead

Breed anubis, dignoise is bugged. He only hits 1s atm and he won’t net you shit.
