I just finished breeding up Xenovader, got really lucky with a serenity egg mutation and had to breed up a yakumo to get ferocious and musclehead from the wild. More info on Yakumo, you cannot get Legend off of using Yakumo, that's exclusive to the dedicated legends in the wild, same with Lucky, Also Selyne's ability is like Frostalian's, it increases Selyne's attack, not the player's attack when mounted.

He’s talking about Yakumo’s partner skill, which makes wild pals more likely to have the same passives as the Yakumo while you’re fighting with him. If the Yakumo has either legend or lucky, those traits will not appear on wild pals, even with Yakumo’s partner skill, unless the pal is suppose to have it.

@@caliboinate09 Yes you can breed Lucky down, but unless one of the Selyne spawn as a lucky pal you won't ever got it on her as she's one of the few pals that you can't breed more of without having a male and female of that pal in the first place.

Hi! For you all I've done some calcul on the DPS difference between atk bonus vs cooldown reduction. (Calcul done on the power level of the 4 active skill : Dark cannon, Spirit flame, holy burst and pal blast) From my result, and with the assumption that every active skill can be cast in one second (I know it's quite erroneous but it's to give an idea), it seems that the combination musclehead+impatient+serenity (MIS) is better than legend+ferocious+musclehead (LFM) (92,69 DPS vs 60,08 DPS for LFM) The combo Musclehead+ ferocious + serenity does 83,23 DPS. I've done the calcul on only 3 passive skill to give some modularity to build but yeah, in my opinion legend isn't good now

Selyne's partner skill is actually a typo, and it boosts her Dark/Neutral skills instead of Dark/Fire. So potentially, Selyne can be a really strong Pal that can do a bonus of 100% Element dmg to both Neutral and Dark. The enhancement is for herself when mounted, not the player.

Atm legend can only be caught on legendary (stationary) pals but it can be bred out of it. Unfortunately if a pal can only produce another with itself and it's not a (stationary) legendary it can't get legendary :c

I just hope they do what ark did and add procedurally generated maps! It took me about 15 hours to breed a Suzuke casually over the last weekend. I ended up with MuscleHead, Legend, Fercious and Serenity. I'm in the process of trying to get serenity to replace hooligan and then fuse 2 identical pals to create an alpha . . . it is probably going to take the rest of the week. Any pal that is in my active party and not sitting in base or being made for the raid bosses will get some sort of SPEED increasing perk because dodging attacks is infinitely better defensively speaking than tanking it and the speed allows their mobility to be more useful.

I bred a copule Selynes with Musclehead, Serenity and Ferociuos but Impatient instead of Hooligan. Selyne does have a very slow casting speed, so that -10% casting speed is more useful in my eyes. Right now I'm doing the final stretch on a couple Shadowbeak with Siren of the Void, Legend, Serenity and Musclehead.

You only get Legendary from Legendary Pals. You only get Lucky from naturally spawning Pals. I don't know if Selyne can spawn as a shiny but since she's linked with the meteor drops, probably not.

Yakumo can't pass special passives like lucky or legend with its partner skill. How it works is, there is a 15-30% chance to give one of yakumo's passives to the captured pal(percentage is dependent on condense lvl) it can give 1 or more but it may do multiple rolls of the percentage of the partner skill to determine if it does. Its unknown if it replaces passives if that pal would have 4 passives that weren't the ones yakumo has.

Yakumo partner skill can't make pals come with legend or any other type of skill such as Lord of the Underworld, Earth Emp etc. They can't make them come with any skills that buff flat elemental damage. Same thing with lucky unfortunately. The way I've been going about getting damage stuff on these new pals like Blazamut and Xenovader is just by breeding them and getting random passives

Good traits have a wildly low rate of appearance. So far I've only fully maxed out my Wixen and I had over 300 of them (caught and breed) before I was able to get the traits i wanted, and I also settled for hollagin.

When you mount selyne, it doesn't enhance your attack. What it does is enhance her fire or dark attack (if there is any of them). But her attacks are normal type so it actually doesn't do anything.

Selyne DOES have a crossbreed path: Paladius + Lunaris. I just bred a bunch of Selynes using Paladius and Lunaris, giving Selyne the Celestial Emperor trait. However, with the Feybreak update, I'm considering Demon God and/or Vampiric, but that will require me to breed those traits onto a Lunaris to pair with Paladius. (Paladius has no crossbreed paths, so it would have to happen via Lunaris.)

@@Lumiya I posted that two months ago, so about 7 weeks _before_ Selyne had a crossbreed. It was added in Feybreak. Also, Demon God and Vampiric are both "generic" traits. They can be randomly rolled on anything, so Paladius wouldn't need a crossbreed to have them. Case in point, I've got a Jetragon and a Necromus with Demon God on them, neither of which has a crossbreed. If you wanted to bring Siren of the Void/Invader in you'd have to do _that_ through Lunaris, they aren't a part of the generic pool.

I bred jormuntide and chikipi to get mozarina, and mozarina then to fanglope to get yakumo with legend. Simply because I already have legend on my ignis. And that before I knew Yakumo wont transfer legend, lucky, and special elemental passive. But at least he can fight a bit. Try chain breeding calculator. From you captured legend to your target pal to have it.

All eggs have a chance to be an alpha egg. This happens when the egg is made/spawned not when it hatches. an alpha egg is always the huge variant. If you get a male and female bellanoir you can breed them for an alpha

Meteors spawn every 3 real-time-hours of character play time. You can save right before it and make backup. Then everytime a meteor lands, see if you get what you want. If not, you overwrite your save with the backup and wait for the meteor again. That's what he was doing here, not actually speeding the meteor spawn time.
