How to farm the NEW Horn of Fair Winds in Sea of Thieves

The best way I have found to farm the horn solo is to load up into a server, if you get a Dagger Tooth spawn head straight to flooded embrace shrine. If you don’t get a Dagger Tooth spawn go to the captain table and vote down the Seabound Soul Tall tale and dive to it. If you get the Dagger Tooth spawn you can sail to the Flooded Embrace shrine swim down and see if you can get the horn. If there isn’t one just go back to your ship and vote down the Seabound Soul tall tale and dive to another server close to the shrine. I got around 7 in about an hour. Hopefully someone will make a video on this method since the update nerfed it into the ground lol.

HUGE benefit to being on insiders you can read upcoming patch notes so they second i found out they were fixing this i parked 2 ships on 2 different servers over the shrine and set a timer to go off every 15 minutes so 8 horns per hour. could have been better if i did it with friends instead of just 2 pcs. 250 horns was an insane requirement

Data point: We went through a few servers yesterday trying to get a setup of 1 treasury and 2 shrines going. On most servers, we never found a horn inside a treasury. When we finally found a treasury with one in there, it never showed up when we tried to do the treasury for a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th time. The 2 shrines worked on every reset though.

We ran into a situation in our testing where the treasury stopped spawning them after 3 or 4 runs, we think the seed for that one might change somehow while the shrines stay the same but we're not entirely sure why or how

and now its been fixed. again i would like to thank you for this video. it took 2 painful days especially with leek beard issues but i just parked 2 ships over the shrine and using other computers and macros just hoped between them every 15 minutes to get 6 horns per hour. man the commendation for them being 250 is ridiculous. but remember in SoT exploit early and often when they screw up at programming because they dont punish anyone for anything if its due to their own incompetence.

too bad i only play on 2 sloop safer sea servers (for full progression without the safer sea penalties) but the game is coded to stop spawning reapers in shipwrecks on servers with less than 4 ships because its meant to be competitive loot and for those of us early players who learned how to exploit the server merger system to basically get pve only servers would be able to farm reapers uncontested..... like that matters now when we can stack FOTD uncontested now... silly devs tricks are for kids
