Hi Brendon, appreciation for this post. I've checked anything and everything i could on my cruise control a few years back and gave up as i couldn't get speed being sensed. Think this video has revealed the missing piece... The entire speed sensor! Seems like the speedo cable must have been replaced with a non cruise control one so there's no facility to deliver speed reading to ECU. I had figured it must be taking a reading from the instrument cluster somehow after the gauge... Now it makes sense why i could never find info about how that works. Time to try track down the right Speedo cable. Cheers for giving me a next step after years!

Hi Brendon, I watched your videos on setting the fuel pump on the 1HD-T engine with great interest. I couldn't comment on the videos as the comments were set off. Question: how did you actually determine the "correct" fuel setting? You started with a boost setting and then how did you determine the fuel setting? Measured EGT? Oxygen level in EG?

afr is best but egt and seat feel goes a long way
