Just a pro tip (I’m a vid/sound editor): I’d second the motion on making your music a bumper at the beginning at the end, not playing all the way through. Future requests: •More in-depth look at the sifter •In-depth look at how community compost is collected •Ingredients you recommend, as well as those you do not. •Worm bin construction.

Great information. Why the music competing with your narrative? It's not a tv commercial.

Just started watching your worm casting process.You could have saved you & your business over $3,000 by making your own compost sifter.I've been composting for almost 30 years for my own garden.I finally saw the light and had a continuous flow compost bin built I love it.Keep up the good work.

That sifter used to be $2000 and given how durable and long lasting they are, seems worth it. Resale value stays too

Thank you for your reply. Hey I'm Sorry if I might have offended you guys in anyway about what I had said about the music here on your video. I'm really not a mean or bad person honestly. As a matter of fact the truth is I really like watching this video. And I only made my comment to you so that it might just help your channel to become much more successful. And its not that the music isn't appropriate for your Worm channel. Because to be honest I think it fits in really well with the concept of your channel. Its just that for me it is just much to LOUD. Because it makes it very hard to hear him while he's talking. I think it would make your video much more professional if you would add the music at the beginning and at the end of your video. And then have no music at all while he's talking. Or if you want to keep the music going throughout the whole movie then you should lower the music sound track so that all of your viewers watching can hear him over your LOUD music. Well once again I'm truly very Sorry if I have offended you guys in anyway. Because that surely wasn't my intention honestly. Oh and I too am a worm farmer here in Nova Scotia Canada. And if you don't mind I sure would like to subscribe to your channel. So thank you and God bless you all. Sorry again.

From one guy to another, you never need to apologize for sharing your thoughts or feelings about something. You shared your feeling about the music, no one was offended. tl;dr: you’re a man, never apologize for having an opinion.

Thanks for the tips, could you please do a video on how you harvest the compost from the worm bins?

Loved the video and nice there are more channels on worms. One tip, be more concise no need to repeat information, the video could be half the length. But hey other than that it was great. I would love to see more about community scrap collections - amounts and how you set it up. All info on this stuff is amazing thank you for taking the effort to make the videos!

Just want to add to the sound discussionto say I’m an autistic worm farmer & because of sensory processing difficulties its hard for me to listen with the music going on at the same time as talking too so no music while talking would be awesome! Great information though & you have a really good presenting style so keep it up. Subscribed for more

I do it on a small scale, basically a cft system in two bins, one composts to feed the other. In my basement. No smell. Or bugs.

I'm about to build one but how do I seal up the inside? Did you use trash bags, because I'm wondering how can I do this without it soaking the lumber??? Because I'm wanting it to last as long as possible.

So you have the exact same set up as I do in those cement mixing bins. Question is after I sift the bins the worms become distressed and I end up losing about 100 on the floor over a few days. Plus I put a cut up black plastic bag over it but they just cling to it and climb out. Any advise?
@thewormcowboy18262 жыл бұрын
Hey! I would say firstly, make sure that your bedding is sufficiently moist. One of the main reasons worms escape is because their bins are too dry. If you're keeping the same bedding and feedstock as what you harvested, they should be good! Hopefully that works.
@pagodaracingmountpennreadi89152 жыл бұрын
I use LED lighting to keep my worms in the bins. Even when I switched to trash tote type continuous flow through bins with lids I would still have some worms crawl out. With the bright light above the bin I have zero crawl out.
