Baffles will only work if you can isolate your feeder from nearby trees, fences, posts, decks etc…. Otherwise squirrels can jump further than you realize making the baffle pointless. The feeder needs to be on its own away from most everything else. The only time I have had squirrels on my feeders are when I accidentally left something nearby they could jump off of. Also, place perches on and near your feeders and use them to take clean photos of birds!
