Lots of good points! Thanks for giving me back up on my plan to age water and not use dechlorinator. Trying to keep my tank chemical free so I can use the waste water in the garden. :)

Hard to give you quantitative feeding amount because it is depends on temperature and your filter capacity and fish types. For summer time, twice a day, less than 1/3 of head size each time.

Hi Lei. I hope you, your family and your fish are well. Could you please kindly enlighten me as I'm contemplating on feeding my ranchus wheat germ on a regular basis.I reckon regular ( I use saki hikari green ) pellets sometimes cause them to float on the surface of the water. And at times they would float upside down. May I know your thoughts about this? Thank you and best wishes.😊

Sorry for hearing this. Your Ranchu seems to get swim bladder issue. Try more soft food and easy to digest goldfish food, like gel food. Here is a Amazon link for your reference amzn.to/47pfljG

Hi David, thank you. I prefer to feed my goldfish with sinking pellets and gel food. The floating flakes are for celestials and pearl scales

my mistake for changing a lot of water when cold lol. Airconditioning can also fuck up your fish due to fluctuating temperature especially when turning it on and off and you're in a tropical country.. It's like switching from 18C max into blazing equator heat very quickly. I have watched this video back then but forgot to use wheat germ and low protein diet coz I don't even notice the aircon can do so much temp fluctuation in my tank and I don't have a freakin heater.
