God is with me. I stay connected to his presence through surrender. Surrender is such an un-American posture. Surrender is such a vulnerable human posture. Surrender feels so unproductive and weak, like an infant...like an infant in a manger.

I’ll look for signs of His love in the world around me, in the wind, the rocks, and the ordinary moments of my day. When I feel disconnected through anger, self-pity, or control, I’ll try to let go and return to this truth. His love is relentless, and I am never alone. May it be to me as You have said.

Yes, 1942 was a different time from our theraputic age...but with the war raging, I imagine it was a comforting story. The dads may not come home. Mom needs to reassure the bunny that she will be there.

Isn't it sad that a mother's love can be interpreted as "smothering". How many people run away from God because they are afraid of being smothered or losing their identity. When in reality God only wants the best for you. Thanks for the bunny story.

Please pray! On 9/20/24 I fell on a cement slab in our yard, fracturing left hip & clavical😢. 19 days later I'm in a Rehab facility but have yet to receive any😢 Can't walk, constant pain, cannot even stand up😮 14:15 Have mercy on me, oh my God!
