Fleece, fiberglass and filler. Add sanding, talent, patients and knowledge and you have “Rose Gold” speakers in a door panel. I was curious to look your video up to watch after “My Friend Pete” at SWRNC mentioned he watched a few of your videos. As a body and paint guy of the first order, he was having to modify a 1999 Camero console to fit a 1967 Chevelle. The console had the correct shifter for the 4L60e trans behind an LS swap a customer did. Pete had to modify the transmission hump to accommodate the larger trans the decide to use the entire console ( 3/4 back half) and fit the shifter in for a factory look, but using techniques with fiberglass and “Duraglass” had to change it up to fit, leaving room for it to be wrapped between parts and a gap for carpet. Big shout out. Never seen this done and making some from nothing other than imagination is it buddy. Sweet. Pete has been on KZbin 11-12 years. ASE Master Tech since 1978 - Retired.

You need to get a fiberglass roller and a cheese grater for the bondo. That’s a lot of hand sanding. Not that the panel would have turned out any better. You definitely have some mad skills and I’ve always enjoyed your videos.

Damn dude, I think it was a good thing that your seat controls got in the way, the stepped down section makes it look killer! It looks so much more complex and organic. I think it looks more clean with the grills than without. I like them, but it looks good with or without them.

It came hot! I don't know why people bitching about particle board. Braced and sealed it should hold up fine for doors. I understand why folks prefer not to use it, personally I wouldn't but it isn't my build. What's important is the end result came out looking clean.

@@SprayWayCustoms exactly...basically just a mold for the fleece. Once resin and glass are cured thats what's making the panel rigid, not the wood. Now for a sub enclosure, that's a different story. Someone did make mention of SMD sunflash, now that's real talk. That stuff is the truth. No race ag6the clock with resin setting. Take all day long to lay it on and glass then just put it under the sun or UV light and boom, literally 2 minutes later it's cured, ready to sand and filler. Keep doing your thing playboy.
