From the video: 1. First thing in the morning take 4 oz orange juice (for vitamin C), 1/4 tsp cream of tartar (for potassium), and 1/4 tsp pink Himalayan salt (for sodium and minerals) 2. Take an adaptogenic herb called Ashwagandha which increases GABA in the brain 3. Take omega 3’s (he recommends fish oil capsules but there are more ethical sources of omega 3’s)

I think adrenal dysfunction is a more accurate description. The adrenal gets desensitised by the massive amount of stress and cannot correctly judge how much cortisol is required. I’ve been struggling for 5 years with anxiety, insomnia and then thyroid issues, gut issues. I took PS100 which lowered my cortisol in an instant. Ashwagandha didn’t work for me. I’m now working on healing my epstein Barr virus which is the thing that targeted my adrenals by taking BHT.

Chronic Stress was the cause of mine adrenal fatigue. I suffered from eczema, psoriasis, depression, anxiety, excess sweating, brain fog, chronic fatigue etc etc, just to name a few. This was happening for years and each symptom was worsening since i was so frustrated and depressed about the situation, making myself more stresses out. I don't think a person who's actually experienced Adrenal Fatigue would encourage us to "fight" it. A video about adrenal fatigue really shouldn't even have the word "fight" in the title. We don't fight it; we heal the adrenals, we support our body, we love our body. I was in fight mode for years and it was really bad for me. It was only when I learned to be gentle with my body, to feed it and nourish it, that I learned how to heal it.

Correct, except that during adrenal fatigue your sodium is not being regulated due to low aldosterone so you need a way to replace it or else you will feel extremely horrible. But make sure the adrenal cocktail is made correctly with the proper potassium and vitamin C or else you can crash yourself, when I made the cocktail using only salt and water I felt amazing and could sleep but crashed after a few days so you need to make it as he described or google different alternatives to avoid using orange juice to stop the blood sugar spike.

Cortisol increases in a stressed state. One of the best things you can do to modulate cortisol levels is to reduce your PERCEIVED stress. Many times our stress is just our perception of stress. 2 different people can have completely different levels of perceived stress from a given stimulus. You may not be able to control certain things, but you can control your perception of incoming stimuli. And lay off OJ it's full of sugar and just exacerbates insulin resistance. People living a life with no purpose are stressed.

insulin resistance is from fat, not sugar. If it is just straight orange juice, no added sugar, there is nothing wrong with that. Healthy. Add fats to it, then you have a problem.

@@Android-Zen That's the other way of reversing insulin resistance but you're creating other problems. Keto is burning dirty fuel for your body and it destroys you over time. There are a ton of people coming off keto who are very ill. It is a completely unnatural diet. Proteins acidify and putrify. Fats overstimulate. I am guessing you didn't know this? Humans are carbon based beings, not nitrogen like meat eaters. People are curing diabetes on all fruit. Fruit sugar is not a problem at all. Fruit sugars do not even have an insulin response unless your body is in bad shape, but that generally only lasts a few days if you were doing all fruit. Less than 30 days to cure insulin resistance on all fruit. No combined fats. Sources: People who are actually trained in human biology and detoxification/regeneration. Hi, so I’m confused about the orange juice. I understand it’s loaded in vitamin c which might be affective for AF but it’s also loaded in sugar and one of the primary rules in healing AF is to limit most forms of sugar except dark berries per Dr. Josh Axe.

This information is only valid for people with high cortisol levels. There are different stages of adrenal fatigue. Once you have low cortisol levels, you need to take a lot of adrenal desiccated and B vitamins to help your body start producing cortisol again.

i like to make "wellness" shots and put them in like an extra olive oil dispenser I have. Could I pre mix the OJ, cream of tartar and pink salt, dissolve it all up and then just take 4 oz of it per day? Or is it something I have to make fresh each morning due to the product dissolving too much or something like that? I have family members (cough, cough husband) that will drink an entire container of OJ in one day if I bought and left it in fridge and then I'd have none left, so premixing this so I have enough for myself the whole week would be nice.

@@BB-vq6cb HI Mark, so far I have really had to listen to my body and keep the stress levels down. It prefers yoga, dance or body weight workouts, even resistance band training. I have added some free weights but can't overdo it too much and so far my lower body can take more than my upper body without stressing it into overdrive. I have been taking the Omega oils daily and that seems to help. Still a journey though. 🙏

I'm wondering why, since Orange Juice has SOOO much sugar, you wouldn't just create something like a Kale smoothie with the Him. Pink salt and Cream of Tartar? Kale actually has MORE Vitamin C than oranges, so should satisfy that need, right?

I think sugar is important as people with adrenal fatigue have blood sugar dips, so if you have sugar its best to mix it with some kind of fat like coconut cream that way you stop the blood sugar spike. Im going to try that soon and see how I do as the cocktail works amazing.

Would you choose Ashwagandha over rhodiola? I'm taking rhodiola right now, I bought it after you recommended it in the lion's mane video. But I no longer take lion's mane, and I see more benefits listed for ashwagandha. Also, is it okay to switch from one adaptogen to another? What about consuming maca powder while taking one of the two mentioned above?
