How to fight back against spam texts and robocalls

Nothing of this will stop them.. something that slows them down or bobby traps them ..of course we would need none of this if voice transit providers did not profit from it. They could literally bankrupt this business on a click but they don't.. they better do. otherwise some law is gonna force them to.

It is too bad that phone companies won't make a special button on the phone to send back a loud horn sound to fix the phishers ear. Especially the ones that come from overseas.

the issue is that sending it to voice-mail tells the robot it's a valid number. it feels like it's these robocall app people spamming people until they give in and subscribe to their robocall app

I had to call my phone company and have my voicemail turned off, because I used to get empty voice mails from unknown numbers and the phone didn't even ring.

All the information she gave is useless, Yes you can stop getting notified when the call it’s not in your contacts. but it’s still leaves you open to people who are not in your contacts but trying to reach you, but don’t bother leaving a voicemail. or missing an important call, and every doctor’s office doesn’t just have one phone number. sometimes doctors offices have 3 different satellite locations that they call you from.

My phone doesn't ring when unknown numbers call me, I told my doctor clearly to give me the numbers of people that might contact me on his account because I only answer to contacts because of this spam. He understood and followed my requests. If you ask politelly and explain your situation your doctor will understand.

My calls are coming every 3 to 5 minutes now every day once they start. It’s now over 100 a day. I block calls ALL day long. Can’t even have a phone appointment with my doctor. Phone battery draining early every day now

Anyone know why I’m getting the same call from someone named “M Bingham” ? I don’t know this person. I keep getting the same call with the same area code. Then I block the call. Then I get another call with the same area code but different numbers after the area code, then I block that call with the same “M Bingham”, then I block that new number. And soon enough I get another call. Anyone know what this is?

Just annoy them and just keep calling and annoying and they will take u off EVERY LIST

Just focus on what is important, and memorize 5 important numbers that you need and use and ignore the rest. May2023

Your comment is useless. if you only have 5 import numbers to memory, that’s not what 99% of the people in this country have. I have over 300 contacts and then plus I have many people & doctors offices that called me they are not in my contacts. And also, if you’re applying for a job, you don’t know the phone number of the job when you apply online.
