I am from a long line of alcoholics and understand it's not everyones vice. Mark, being a pastor, I pray to tread lightly on the whiskey talk. It can be a stumbling block for others.... especially ones looking to up him. I have had my fair share of late night memories with whiskey. None of them brought me closer to the Lord. I'm sober and have been 2 years by the grace of God. Whiskey almost took my family and my life. Im not saying everyone has a problem with alcoholism but whiskey talk isn't for the pulpit. Wedding and wine are one thing....but how can you fight jezebel and ahab and not even consider the dark and deadly spirit of addiction? This is my first youtube comment ever but I pray this taken in truth and love. No pastor is perfect and I appreciate everything I have learned from you. Thank you Jesus for your forgiveness and grace ❤

I get where you’re coming from…. But I’d also bet a thousand dollars Mark agrees being a drunkard is a sin that will keep you from heaven. That separates you from Jesus. If you need to avoid the beach because of the kids swim suits these days, I don’t fault you. But others should be able to talk about enjoying the swim and sunset when they don’t have wondering sexual thoughts…. We all have our issues. And it’s better to cut off your arm, or pluck out your eye to save your body….. but we all have different issues….. I could waste all day watching TV, so should everyone stop watching tv? Or atleast they shouldn’t talk about a TV show or sports game in public? We each have different issues to over come, or avoid if needed….. but that doesn’t mean some TV is ok… or a drink…. Or the beach when you keep your thoughts “clean”…

I am so glad, that at the end you mentioned that someone showing jezebelic behavior may need healing. I think this cannot be understated! Many people I know, men and women, feel unsafe from unresolved trauma and controlling their environment gives them a false sense of safety and security. One thing I'd love to see covered is that someone can be having a fear response that comes out as controlling, but they may not be carrying around a jezebel spirit with them. Not everyone trying to control is a jezebel. They may just have partnered with a spirit of fear or control. Jezebel, however is involved in overt idolatry, calls herself a prophetess though she is operating in manipulation (witchcraft). To name someone a jezebel means they've taken on that persona as their own, knowingly or unknowingly. There's jezebelic type behavior invarious amounts, trauma/control responses, and at times an actual spirit of Jezebel present and operating. All 3 of these are distinct from each other and needing different approaches. Lord Jesus, give us the discernment to recognize the difference and help others find the healing, deliverance, and freedom You designed for all of us to walk in. God bless.

She picked the church which happens to be a dying congregation. We are pretty much the youngest married couple there. They are you usual "normie" church goers that really don't believe in the full scope of evil. They are completely out of touch with the outside world. I feel like a battle hardened combat vet of life whenever I attend and have no idea what to talk about outside the state of the weather with 90% of them. They appear to be good people and I don't want to bring any negative vibes to their happy world has the ride off in the sunset of their lives. I did find a mens bible study group that also spends an hour prior to bible studies dedicated to learning self defence. I am fitting right in. Next we are gonna go shooting, put some rounds down range.

I haven't watched this video yet but what I've learned through dealing with spiritual warfare. Not at the level of casting out demons but everyday life. It's all about positioning and shining light god will position you. You putting on the armor of god and emulating the character of christ through truth love peace kindness and mercy. Will create the light. God will protect you with his promise in isaiah 54. So you stand in position and power. And god will clear entire workplaces and churches and homes of spirits. Trust in him the more you allow your own thoughts and emotions drive the situation the more you just slow the process down. Give it all to god he is all powerful if he calls you to have a more direct act he will call you to it and position you to do it. So be at peace the earth is his footstool what is a little baby evil spirit to god

So my only question is about the whiskey, many deliverance ministers will say not to even have alcohol in your home because it can give foothold to demons. So why does he drink? Just a little bit thrown off by that, the Bible says no drunkard will inherit the kingdom of Heaven, from my understanding whiskey is pretty strong. Not saying he gets drunk but also I just don’t see how drinking is a good thing.
@cokesmocker398 ай бұрын
My God you know what threw me off from wanting to be involved in the church? Goody goodies like you. People who are overly religious instead of more godly. More Legalistic instead of spirit-filled. It didn't help that my dad didn't prioritize making sure we lived somewhere with a good church for 8 years of my life and we fell away from the church and then the next church they joined after that made it seem like I didn't have a choice but to be baptized which scared me way more. And then listening the way my mom and dad talk and the way they treated me when they started going back to church. Does that mean I think that drinking and doing drugs is okay in moderation? Well drinking is a little bit different than drugs but even that should be done as little as possible but still not wrong to partake occasionally for the right reasons. But to look down on someone who partakes in alcohol at all or to even question it seems pretty crazy to me.
@cokesmocker398 ай бұрын
It's okay I finally did come back to God and I did get baptized. But I did find out that there are are pastors who are too prideful and too legalistic and my parents weren't always right in the way they treated me. And I was able to forgive them. If I have kids I will do a much better job at making the church appealing and I will teach them why it is important to be saved and love God and have their own personal relationship with him instead of shaming them and looking down on them or correcting them in the meanest way possible. I will empathize with them and explain to them why God's plan is the best plan for humankind. Even for people who are not religious. But they still need the salvation of Christ to enter heaven.
@cokesmocker398 ай бұрын
Just so you know there are different strengths whiskey. Maybe you truly don't even know about it so I'm sorry if I went on a super long tangent. But there's different strength whiskeys. Whiskey connoisseurs or whiskey drinkers will sip on it unless they're alcoholics and then they'll sip on it all day or drink strong mixed drinks as fastly as they can. But people who have self-control sip on it and don't have more than a very small class filled maybe an inch or two at the bottom.

Young man, I sympathize with what you're going through in your marriage. I'm going to pray that you two make it, and stay together if it's the right thing? One question I would ask if you and you can tell me to go jump in the lake. Do you think that you gave the dating phase of your relationship with her enough time, so as to get to know her and for her to know you? If she is really dead set against following while you lead which Is how it should be! That can then become a real problem! I made my share of mistakes over the years in trying to find a mate. Unfortunately here especially in the western world there aren't many women left who are brought up to be wives! Even in the church my friend where the men not all, but many have been emasculated. And fearful of dying alone and will acquiesce to the woman's demand to control and weild power and authority over the man! I guess for the men like myself and others I am open to a relationship with a woman that shared my values! Otherwise I choose to stay single! As a much younger man I had tried staying with a gal that I didn't want to let go of! I was on my way to Bible study while she was on her way to the night club with her gf's! That will never work, but there I was a hard headed young buck trying to fit a square peg into a round hole? Peace!

time 24:24 How does a child allow demons to invade their lives? It seems like some children are possessed. Maybe I'm mistaken about that. Surely the parents have asked for help from God, but nothing improves. Why is God ignoring the parents and the troubled children?

Generational curses is what is running rampant in society. The Jezebel spirit is being passed down generational in which it demonizes the female babies in the womb. I do deliverance ministry so I'm a soldier in the war. If you suspect your kid's are demonized you do have the authority to cast them out even if they are not saved yet if they're younger then seven years old.

time 12:22 Are people getting killed because they are not praying to God to ask him not to let them be killed? Is that what the problem is? People suffer and die because they have not specifically asked not to not let a specific and particular thing happen to them? People have to do a lot of praying because there is no way any human being can ever cover all of the possibilities.

Why is a man of God talking about going home on Wednesday night and eating nachos and drinking whiskey? I dont get it! Its called spirits for a reason, forget the fact that men at this conference might have struggled with addiction to alchohol and God delivered them and now a pastor is saying they should pray about doing the same thing on Wednesday night!! (Drinking whiskey and eating nachos) Unbelievable

Agree with you. Drinking Whisky is not right. Christians are called to be Sober and Vigilant in these last days. Not indulging in drunkenness and revelry. Pastors should be really careful not to mislead believers.

There is a third type of man. One that does not move back or forward, but one who stands his ground. One who has built his house upon the Lord, and it was likened to a fortress. Such a man welcomes death, but does not seek it. Such a man knows the never ending grace of God, and is terrified. Ye, satan truly is powerful, but there is no comparison to God.

Something to think about… when any of us listens to this pastor or any other , we must remember they are human and can make mistakes. They may have an excellent message, but we should never take everything they say as gospel, but take the message given and follow up on it ourselves by reading actual scripture. The only way we can learn to discern lies from the truth is read the scripture ourselves and pray for wisdom and understanding. Listening to preachers and going to conferences or reading books is not the way to know God and His word, but a way to back up what is actually in the Bible… the Bible should always be our first and final resource and figuring out truth from misinformation is between us and God. I listen to Pastor Mark and others, but I do not take their word as gospel itself

time 10:43 Again, why does God allow these bad things? Why does God allow the "authorities" to spend all their time disarming people and make them weak? Why does God allow anyone who tries to stop that get destroyed?
@GWOTUSMC03118 ай бұрын
God doesn't allow bad things. As humans we are given free will by God and Satan I'd able to manipulate that free will because people turn from God and that allows Satan in. Before I came to Christ, I felt the same way you do. I had to really realize how God created us. Hope this helps. God bless you!
@johnhammertron8 ай бұрын
@@GWOTUSMC0311 God does allow bad things to happen to some people, but not others. Didn't God send angels to help Lot flee Sodom and Gamorrah? It sounds like those other people were pretty rotten, but God still prevented something bad happening to Lot while allowing the other people to be killed off. Didn't God help the Hebrews flee Egypt and part the Red Sea for them so something bad would not happen to them while letting the Red Sea drwn the Egyptians pursuing them? The same thing is happening to people every day. We see rotten people hurting and killing other people and getting away with it. Or are we to believe that the people getting hurt and killed deserve it?

@KMLang0075 ай бұрын
@@pagm0283 You fail to understand how influence works. It is perceived as license for those who are weak and likely to abuse it. Paul wrote that eating meat sacrificed to idols was really not a problem, but if it causes a brother to stumble then he would not do it. While drinking whiskey can be for medicinal purposes or to even relax is understandable, but I wouldn’t advertise it publicly for the reason stated above. It is an easy an avoidable snare.

time 27: 10 ok. God wants us to forgive the Ahabs and Jazebels that cause us harm and troubles and destroy our lives. It soulnds like God wants us to forgive them even if they don't ask for forgiveness. Most of them probably think they are totally justified in whatever scummy things they do to us. Does this mean that God will forgive us even if we don't ask God to forgive us our sins?

@johnhammertron8 ай бұрын
@@GlitchedYT-1 When Jesus said "Turn the other cheek" he probably meant something like not worrying about small things that don't really hurt much. The Ahabs and Jazebels cause way more harm than that. Why doesn't God just forgive us even if we don't ask him to?
