This video hit home so badly!!! I personally always feel like having photos with flowers and lovely landscapes like you, but that's not really available for me so I need to work with what I have which I tend to look down to but I can totally make something out of it. It almost feels like we're always wanting what others have instead of trying to make do with what we already own!

It's snowing here in Pennsylvania too. Nice and informative video. Loved the series. It happened to me too. One day I was looking through my pictures and I found that I took a lots of pictures of sunset.

It's such a nice observation when suddenly you start seeing these ptterns in your own work and you get a bigger understanding of the whole thing instead of always focusing on the next one and the next one :)

You are correct in saying that challenges help you to get out of your head and just try new things. At the moment I am doing your challenge and I am combining it with the 100 day challenge. I decided to do 100 photographs of me as a Lego minifigure. I am on day 9, so still a long way to go, but I discovered that I seem to have a preference for teal, blue and green colors. I also seem to have a preference for the colors to be bold and playful.

I guess that my favourite way of figuring out my fav photography style is observing which photos give me the most fun and pride! Usually when I finally take some photo that is 'suitable for instagram', I edit it and then look at it several times a day for a few days before I post it 😂 The more I look at some photo and the more excited I feel while looking at it = probably my fav type of photos!

it will be cool if there was any conection between monday video and thursday photomaking video. I think this it's really usefull first to hear about the theory and then to see on practice how make it come to real life. Just few logic conections between videos will make it even more exicited and more expected to see the next one.

Loving the photo challenge, Kika! Thank you - it's been really inspiring and I'm really enjoying creating something for the pure joy of it again. I'm not sure if I have a photography style because I only began editing my photos when I started this challenge. I'd never considered editing my photos until I was inspired by your mirror frame photo with the x-ray (week 2 hidden video). It was so strange watching this video because I posted my photos to instagram three days ago and had chosen a theme and they are all similar with a narrative based around my dog, Claude. There is a magical-mystical-surrealism theme - a sort of 80's film vibe going on - think Never Ending Story (like this comment 😂), Labyrinth, Legend & Dark Crystal - developing in my photos for this photo challenge. @sophynixon 🌙⭐️🦄

I'm struggling with everything.I am so bad at taking photos I can nearly take a side photo of myself but I am good at editing though. And I can't seem to find my own style. I feel like I'm still in that first phase, where I experiment with different styles, but if I look through my feed, I of course can see a lot of recurring elements and colors. I love these motivation Monday videos, I especially liked this mood board idea, so I'm definitely gonna try it, maybe it will bring me closer to finding my style. :) Thank you for this 12 week challenge, it's a life saver!

My style is urban photography, my main struggle is posting! I really want to get into self modeling as well to improve my self confidence as my longest relationship ended and now I need to put myself out there! Instagram: captainmobius1 So far all I've manage to post is food lol.

Honestly the "style" aspect is so getting to me. I don't know what my style is. The latest photos of mine isn't exactly what I wanted them to be. Posting till I find them perfect isn't very good in staying consistent. Self portraits is much harder that I expected because not only am I trying to analyze the photo, I am also analyzing myself. I am so thankful for your videos I look forward to them every week. I am enjoying doing the challenge and am enjoying trying to implement the ideas i may have for your theme. Sometimes I have an idea in my head especially an outdoors one but I do get very nervous to be outside where the world can see me taking a photo of myself. It is daunting I hope I will eventually get over the nerves of people watching me. But in the mean time I have been trying to practice indoors in the comfort of my own home I guess untilI am brave enough to venture out on my own. @karlene.j.photography is my instagram handle.
