oh my god, thanks for your video, I have formed my LLC back in Aug 9th 2022, and I am already late for this statement of information filing, hope there is not other penalty on my account, and thanks for your video that guide me through the whole time, I was completely no idea where to file it. the reason Why I will look for it was because B.A.R. asking for it, then I know something I must have been missed.

There may be a penalty, but you can try to get a waiver www.sos.ca.gov/business-programs/business-entities/filing-tips/email-penaltywaivers just make sure to get the SOI files as soon as you can

Great video! I just received my entity formation information from the service I used to get my LLC created. Coming across your video showed me exactly what I needed to get my SOI started. My question has to do with my place of business. I have a UPS address and wanted to know if that's appropriate to use for the LLC office address. I work and travel from my home for my business and don't want to have my home address used. Thank you.

It says "street address" so that means no PO Box of course, but I don't see any more definition -- as of right now it seems that they accept UPS store and virtual mailboxes (but not sure if that will be true in the future)

Yes you can put your name but you are not required to have a CEO for an LLC. For Type of Business I usually put ecommmerce

Well you can try a virtual mailbox or even a co-working space to get an address -- they work for many things (but not everything, like for a seller's permit)

Yes, the last time I checked, the LLC needs to be accepted by them before the system will let you do the SOI

Question in regards to the physical address, I'm currently using a virtual address for both physical and mailing when I filed for my LLC, but planning on switching it in a following week or so but my SOI is due in a few days. Would I just put what's on my articles of organization for now and file another one after the address has been changed? Also, do I use the same virtual address as the registered agent address? You can file the SOI now with the current address to match the articles of org and then file a new SOI in a couple weeks with the new addresses.
