you can find someone in Florida who will act as a registered agent. There are many companies that does that for an annual fee.

After you submit the payment is the receipt the only thing emailed to you what email do you get after you pay?

I don't remember what happened right after I summited payment, but I received 2 emails on the day I filed and paid. One was from limitedonline saying my articles of organization had been filed electronically and gave me a corporate filing number. The email reminded me to file an annual report and get an EIN. I also got a donotreply that gave me a payment receipt. Months later I received annual report filing notices.

You will receive the certificate from the state. I think I downloaded it? I can´t remember. But those notices are private companies who have no authority and are trying to look official, with some even trying to look like they are government or State of Florida. They have deadlines and some are meant to look like bills. I think we should report these companies to the State and the Better Business Bureau.

You can use any name you come up with as long as it’s not taken by someone else. So yes, you can use your name if you like.

Someone on Quora told me to not put myself as the agent and member. I’m the only one for my pastry shop, I have my brother and my niece helping me bake n deliver. I don’t trust him just yet to be on my LLC.
