Hi Thanks so much for your videos they are really really helpful!!!! One question - I only subscribed to quickbooks Self-Employed; is it possible for me to do a DIY tax return just with this? Or would I need to upgrade to be able to do anything?

I'm self-employed but I think I must've made a mistake somewhere because the tax to pay back is a lot compared to what I've earned. Did I do something wrong?

Possible, just make sure you include all your income and expenses, then compare it to QBO tax return and see if it’s similar

If i was trading for 6 months as a limited company, do you submit tax year for 6 months or the full 12 months?

Look on companies house website, that will let you know when it’s due and period require

I have a ee contract that goes through my personal account how do I show that on quickbooks account? Am only claiming for the additional line on the contract and ee have switched me to a business account

Create an expense from your drawings account (if using QBO) in QBSE just add a new transaction 😊

Hi, love your content. Hope you can help with a quick question for a beginner reseller if possible - the £1000 trading allowance. if I sell £1000 of products in a tax year do I need to register with HMRC? Even if I made a loss. Or is it £1000 profit after cost of goods has been taken off? Seen some contradicting information online. Thanks

£1,000 on Sales... not profit... if you make more than £1,000 on sales then you must register, good luck :D
