Good video. I just watched a Odyssey AGM battery video on properly charging their batteries and it stated then need to be charged at 14.0 - 14.7 volts to properly charge them. I am not sure if all AGM batteries have this requirement but they are 12.9 volt batteries, and regular lead acid batteries are 12.6 volts, and should be charged at least a 1 volt higher voltage.

AGM batteries use the same acid as basic old style batteries ? Thank you.

Can this battery then be mounted on its side ?? No leakage of acid after the fact ?

With a self-filled one I'm not sure if I would risk it on its side. A sealed AGM would be fine. The seal is really strong but I don't have experience with that enough to recommend it one way or the other.

Aren't most AGM batteries maintenance free, and don't require filling? At least my yuasa battery was like that...

It depends where you get them from, some are pre-filled some you need to fill yourself.
