In this video we are going to show you how to fill saw cuts, cracks in your concrete prior to your epoxy application to create a seamless floor!
Leggari Patcher Paste is a unique resin based, industrial strength, all purpose patcher. Extremely versatile and most commonly used to repair, patch, and resurface damaged floors, fill pits, holes, cracks, and joints in concrete and wood substrates. Its non-sag properties make it ideal for patching vertical concrete walls, making live edge textures on countertop faces, and even forming cove base. Will not crack and creates an extremely hard surface that is stronger than concrete with some slight flexibility once cured.

INDUSTRIAL GRADE
- Easy to Use and Apply
- Long Pot Life (how long it can last in the bucket once mixed)
- Stronger than Concrete
- May be applied to a Feather Edge or Mixed with Aggregate
- No Primer Needed
- Absorbs Vibration and Shock without Cracking
- Accepts Leggari Resins before Dry
Accepts Metallic Pigments for Decorative Wall Applications
KEYS TO A SUCCESSFUL PROJECT
- Acclimate the Patcher Paste to 70 degrees
- Apply in 70 degree temps for best results
- If the Part A is cold it will be harder to remove from the container, simply let it sit in a bucket of warm water for 20 to 30 min before using
- Minimize dust and debris by closing windows or covering vents
- Fill cracks or saw cuts a little higher than the surface so when you sand or grind the patcher paste it will be a smooth flush surface
- Use a drywall tray when applying with a putty knife
- Tools can be cleaned by scraping the Patcher Paste off with a paint stick and then wiped with a rag and denatured alcohol.
- Make sure the surface is clean and dry
Our epoxy can go over existing surfaces like laminate, granite, wood, concrete, tile & so much more as you just saw in this video!

The expansion joints are in the concrete for a reason. There is a good chance it will crack there again or crack somewhere else which would be even worse.

It’s a good idea to fill them, then cut them out after and fill with silicone. You can’t fill the joint with a liquid epoxy when you lay the floor. It will be lower than the rest of the floor and no longer have a straight edge. This would make the caulk joint awful.

@@raiders3417 What I did was epoxy my garage, not getting it into the expansion joints. Then I picked the closest color of Sikaflex (any other filler would work if it's soft relative to concrete) and filled the joints for a seamless look.

I understand the Patcher Paste is flexible and won't effect the concrete stress cuts. My question is how flexible is the epoxy itself? I feel like it's eventually going to crack if you cover the cuts.

Heres my question im doing 2 bathroom floors at a gym...one bathroom has a "BURNOUT"...yes!! Someone brought their motorcycle and did a burnout in the bathroom and went right through the tile to the concrete and the flat tiles are obviously mortared to the concrete slab... Will this putty filling that void?? It's about 6 in by 4 in straight through to the slab.

NP1 is a great product! Doesn’t work well under epoxies with radical freeze-thaw cycles though. We’ve used it a lot to fill control joints after the floor’s done though. Our Patcher Paste bonds extremely well to the walls of the joints and does offer some flexibility. Cracks are definitely the bane of the industry, this product is our answer to them. Thanks

I am dreaming about applying ocean blue epoxy to my home floor. I have ugly ceramic tile floors with huge 1/2 inch grout lines between the tile. Can I use this product as a patch to level out the grout lines then apply self leveling over that and a primer over that?

Nice product but let people know that it’s going to re crack again I’m guessing it’s a semi-rigid product and you putting it into a moving saw cut also the foundation wall seam will crack within a year you have two substrates moving independently of each other.

How come you didn’t just use polyurea joint filler in the tubes ? Or use the pumps they make? Of course the pumps are pricey but this seems messier and longer process.
@LeggariProducts
@LeggariProducts 4 жыл бұрын
In our experience we prefer a little more flexibility, and Patcher Paste offers that. Like anything, this is subjective and depends on the brand/formula of the Polyurea. Thanks

New to your KZbin and I Love to watch your videos but the commercials are almost over whelming especially when you have your phone somewhere else and you are in a different area with your earbuds in. I'm not interested in what ever KZbin is advertising. I would bet you would sale more products if the commercials had something to do with your epoxy products instead. I would have more interest in listening to Something you carry and not, "Hey Texas if you have a meter like this on your house you could save All Kinds of Money every month." Or insurance, Noom, Root or Golo. I know it's all about making money, if you are selling more products, you are making more money. Usually when you get another Advertisement they have that 5 Second timer, but if you are across the shop you don't always have time to go hit the return to video button. But if you was in control of your ads you could make it return at the end of each one and people would be more apt to listen to the whole promotion. Just what my opinion is about your videos. Make it about your products and where we can get what we need. Thanks for the information about the how to. I'm a Artist and I see lots of ways I can use your products.

Kind of annoying that nowhere that I can find, do you mention when you can actually sand it, before moving on to further steps. Nowhere on your patcher paste product page, or other instructional guides that I've looked at, do you give a time or approximate time before you can sand. Come on guys... this is sort of important when trying to plan out stages of the process.
