Flew in Calgary a couple weeks ago from the US and it was a complete clusterfuck. Small tables, not enough pens, and people couldn't remember the flight number. Going back to the states through Calgary was far more easier. No forms to fill out, just walk up to the kiosk and answer five questions, scanned my green card, get your picture taken, get your slip, show it to the officer and off you go.
