It really also depends what passport you have If you have a European / British / Oz passport I would say you are much less likely to get questioned then someone holding an Indian or Middle Eastern / African passport

how abt Asia?
@Rabolisk Жыл бұрын
Not really as you think. People with a European passport don't need a visa to enter the country, so they get asked questions. People with African passports go through hell to apply for a visa, so they already went through the process

I find this video interesting on an educational aspect... It is pretty explanatory for someone who is still learning english and doesn't have a lot of confidence to hold a conversation... But at the same time it's a video that a novice would be very unlikely to understand if they don't already know english enough to hold a conversation.

Thanks for sharing this important information. Yesterday I was at Fort Lauderdale airport and officers of security asked me to take out two bottles containing water. I understood, but I was afraid of not understanding all their commands, so I asked for speaking Spanish. I felt so frustrated, but videos like this will help me a lot in the future. My question is this: How to answer and understanding questions asked by security officers. Thanks again and I hope to hear from you soon!

I have been visiting the US for three years now and the most questions were asked at the LAX airport in Los Angeles. Before you go through immigration you scan your passport, take a picture and scan your fingerprints. Afterwards your get a printed paper and if it has a large X on it, you will have to go to the whole process again with an immigration officer and while doing that, he or she might ask you more questions than expected. Last year I had a connecting flight in Atlanta and when you travel from Germany, you have to pass immigration, pick up your luggage afterwards and check in your luggage for the connecting flight again. Once you land in the US and you have a connecting flight, the US demands you to go through immigration at the first US airport. Even though I was a little nervous, this whole process was easier than I thought and the immigration officer was friendly. Some people might be surprised if the immigration officer asks you a question you already answered with an earlier question, they just follow protocol so be nice and answer again. To me this is part of the travel experience now and I do not see it as a problem but as an added experience.

Sometimes they don't and it's merely a formality. If you had to pre-applied for a visa in order to enter that country, so most definitely they will know your answer to all of those questions. But if you don't need a pre-enrolled visa to do what you have to in that country, that is probably because the likelihood of you doing something you're not allowed on a normal visitor's stay is too neglectable to be worth enquiring, and they will focus on citizenships that have a grater tendency for doing that.
@Lilitha114 жыл бұрын
I just recently had a trip to Japan and then back to the US. Was very easy going both ways. Entering Japan they just asked me how long I was staying. Entering the US(I am a citizen) they just asked if I brought any food with me. Typically you get a short form to fill out on the plane, and most of these questions are also asked on the form. So assuming you fill that out ahead of time it should be an easy process.
