I’m from Illinois, and used to swim in spring water that was 55F. It’s funny you guys put on wet suits for 60F degree water. If I was raised in FL I’d be wearing a wet suit too. 😎

I live in Crystal River, I'm Glad that y'all keep coming back for awesome fishing. lol. If you go straight out the inlet like it looks like y'all did, and you go out due West about 15 miles you'll get where it goes from 18ft and starts dropping into like 40 ft deep, and find some rocks/structure and you can catch some nice Cobia. I'd like to see y'all spear a 50 to 80 pounder. lol. And the water is warm when Cobia are in the Crystal River area, May to July is the best time to catch them around Crystal River, but we've caught some nice ones in August to around mid-September.

Red snapper was my favorite sea food in FL. There was a cafe in Panama City that served freshly caught red snapper from the Gulf. Prior to that I had never had saltwater fish from the Gulf since I am from AZ. I have since moved back to AZ. Yesterday, I signed for Ford Ranger Tremor that has the velocity blue color of my Alma Mater at UF for graduate school in mechanical engineering. I miss FL sometimes.

Kelly (and Gabe) I must say your editing skills are really excellent lately. Plus you guys are just pumping out the solid content. Keep up what you've been doing! If I had one thing to 'complain' about - It's that you are so busy it sometimes takes a while to get these videos out. I hate not knowing exactly when these get filmed. Like this one was obviously before the end of 2021 (gag grouper still in season) and based on the water temperature I'm guessing late December. But I really like to know because now I want to jump in my truck and drive North a couple hours and fish Crystal River! But now that was like a month ago and different fish are in season Lol!
