After getting Waitlisted - wait for the slot mail and then fill out the form in the best possible way using the method shown.
After getting APS - it's time to get waitlisted or get an appointment to have your VISA.
Also, look out for the most common errors and save yourself from them.
I received my APS Certificate today on 30th October 2022 by DTDC.
I went to APS Office in Delhi on 4th October and finished all the formalities. This is the update and timeline which I got.

Critical video for all students going to Germany.
In order to accelerate student admission and visa processing, the German Embassy introduced the Academic Evaluation Centre (APS), attached to the Science Section of this Embassy. From November 1st onwards, APS certificates will be a mandatory part of the documents to be submitted with your visa application. This means: Applicants need an APS certificate before filing a visa application. APS will be open for applications beginning October 1st, 2022. For more detailed information, please consult www.aps-india.de.
We will open new appointment slots for student visa applications through VFS Global. These slots are valid for applications to be submitted starting November 1st, 2022.
So, in short: Apply for an APS certificate starting October 1st  Book your appointment via VFS after obtaining the APS certificate Appointments beginning November 1st.
As there still is a number of entries on the appointment waitlist for winter semester 2022, please note that - unfortunately - it is not possible for the Embassy / Consulates to verify who is in possession of a still valid admission from a German university. Therefore, all students are kindly requested to register for an appointment only if you have obtained all mandatory documents.

Yes you need to book the appointment and take this form there with you but it won't be used while booking the form.

Just as per your offer letter. If you university have any fees apart from Student Contributions that is TUITION FEES - then you need to show the funds for 2 semester fees at least.

You don’t need to fill that reference section. As far as I know that part is for the people going on job or reference based work. You are coming for education.. you don’t need to fill it

Clear the cache and cookies of your browser. Upload the json file and fill in everything on website. Then at the end choose the further option rather than save and it will do it !!!

Hi Nidhi, try to use the passport one. Mostly in the case of whole process - parents documents aren’t needed. Apart from it try going to some court or notary place nearby and get a affidavit front them just to be on the safe side.

You can write NA. If it is not taking any alphabet and want only numbers maybe simply add 00

I have paid one semester fee to the university and putting 2nd semester fee under blocked account along with basic block accounts fund. but wanted to check how will it get released to university ? do i need to provide any approval to Expatrio for semester fee payment to my university

Yes brother. Try mailing expatrio with the same. Also, if you provide all the financial proofs to Embassy they understand the matter. Still I suggest, trying your hands on expatrio. Put a space in it. As far as I remember it was not mandatory when I filled it.

Hello that’s a good question and sorry but I also don’t known the exact answer. In my suggestion, you can try calling the VFS office in India, it’s a Mumbai office telephone number. They can be the best ones to answer.

You have submitted already ? If yes - then I suggest mailing them if you want. Otherwise wait for 30 days period - they will come back to you if they need assistance. How come you filled Frankfurt ? Were you having admission confirmation from Frankfurt back then ? If yes then no issue mostly. Keep an eye on your emails.

There is a heading, "Is there a Formal Declaration of Commitment?" underneath there are 2 options, (a) yes, from the reference, (b) yes, by deviating obligator. Ideally, if your uncle is in Germany only, then his details and bank details will be needed. If he is in India and just contributing money, along with that letter, just make your blocked account on expatrio (use my referral if you want ) and then use the statement from blocked account which have all the money as a proof. -- Use these two referall codes and make your account in WISE and EXPATRIO wise : will be used for sending money to your university once selected. For example you have send semester contribution fee. That might be an issue, I suggest calling VFS to talk about the situation and they will guide you in the best possible way. Whenever you are going for visa, videx form will be edited by them manually, ask them to support you and carry some documents of your father as well.

Ideally - it does not create much of a problem. You can just write their name. If any update will be there on such things, they will update the VIDEX form in the visa office themselves. This form can be edited by them easily before your biometric happens. Just keep your parents couple of aadhar card or other just copies.
