I know a person who went to US on a tourist visa and overstayed and worked illegally for 10 years, until he was assaulted by a US citizen who robbed the gas station that he was working illegally. The guy applied for U visa as a viticm of crime and got his Green card through that process, recently he became a US citizen.

I do not understand this. I recently visited US Consulate office at Ho Chi Min Sarani, Kolkata for US Visa. American Lady at the counter asked me and my wife 3-4 question . That too in Bengali .
