@Zdenka thanks for your video. I was thinking about buying an X4, but I am worried about the post editing...Can you mix in the Insta360 app footage from DJI Mini 2, Samsung Galaxy S23 and Insta x4? Or you have to export from the Insta360 app and then edit again in another software together with other footage?

Yes you can import any files. It works like a regular video editor

The program runs well once you create proxies. It is not too hard on the computer. Regular reframing though without a timeline is a bit slower and yes the computer needs to be faster

You are very welcome. I just export with the default H.264 as I post the video on KZbin. There is no need for extremely difficult formats or extremely high-quality formats. KZbin will compress the files anyways.

The lens has to almost face you if you want to have yourself in a shot otherwise your face will be distorted. If you put it facing sideways, then the stitching will be in your face, which is not good. Enjoy your new camera

@@Steal_ex Two different devices. If I waited for the X4 I probably wouldn't have gotten the HoverAir X1 but now that I have both, they make a good combo. Yes, you can pretty much get the same type of shots with the X4 but it's much easier for me to just launch my drone from my holster, takes literally 10 seconds. Also, there were times where I like that I have both of my hands free while the X1 is on it's own shooting, sometimes I even forget it's there especially when it's following me lol. But yah, there are tons of limitations with the X1 and it's only 2.7K not to mention the X1 would never make it across security in some countries, even though it's not really a drone ;)

@@MiyagisRant , Indeed, these are two different devices, but the result is important. And the Hover X1 is more interesting and better. Even the quality limit of 2.7K is better, because X4 Even this is not there after... stabilization, cropping, and correction of geometric distortions no matter what 8k they sell. I think you can see for yourself that the image is so-so with the X4, if you want to get an image similar to a regular camera, that is, without geometric distortions and the usual ~90° FOV. Regarding the bans on drones... In my country they are almost banned, but as you can see, I calmly use it in public, and even transported it to another country and back, it passed our customs twice)) They probably thought it was a toy. And in terms of filling, this is almost true. It is comparable to a children's indoor toy. And I have Hover X1 paired with DJI Osmo Pocket 3

@@Steal_ex I'm actually getting pretty good results with my X4 and as for the distortions I'm not really facing any of those issues bad enough that it affects my footage. Yes, if you're shooting 360, you really have to fine tune that distortion because it's stitching two lenses but I've gotten good enough to work that out. I like that if you don't want to deal with that you can always shoot in single lens mode that takes that problem out. For me, the ability to be able to frame post is critical when doing action events. There has been times where the footage behind me for more important then in front of me that I missed. It's a good additional to my gear bag with my Ace Pro and DJI A4. I don't think it's there yet that it will take over the traditional action camera but i've shot 360 since it's conception and it's come a long way and I think that gap will close eventually. I can see the X5 with a larger sensor, better distortion handling, just a matter of time we see that. I still love my X1, I think I have finally built the perfect travel gear bag, just waiting on one more camera that I think should complete my arsenal lol

Do you actually see significant benefit shooting in 8K? I find it look just about the same as 5.7K most of the time, slightly sharper in some part of the cropped image. Mostly very similar.

There is a big difference….. if you don’t get paid, you are free to say whatever you want even be negative …. If you are being sponsored, you have to follow their rules… on top of it a free product doesn’t buy you food for the table or cover production cost. If I decided to sell this product at 40% as it is industry standard, I still wanna be able to pay for the production cost

I remember your review of Hover X1 And then this... It is unlikely that an ordinary tourist will walk around the sights with a three-meterr stick. This method is only for bloggers who get paid for it. All in all. Hover X1 is; Easier to use. Convenient. Gives better image quality. Cheaper. (does not require additional accessories). More possibilities.

Your video is very helpful, anyway: that selfie stick is unreliable, I bought it on Amazon and made 2 returns 1) The first time some raised carbon fibers on the handle hurt the palm of my hand. 2) One segment retracted under the same weight of the camera 3) Same defect as the second I kept the last one because they gave me a partial refund. However, I am afraid to use it with my InstaOne360 1 inch, paid 1000 euros. I don't think I will use it also because in a couple of F.B. groups. I saw these S.S. broken.
