I always looks forward when you upload Jaired, I'm in my second-ish season of weddings, and have come a long way, but still have a lot to learn in terms of telling a story through visuals and audio, but with your help (and other awesome veterans in the field) I've been able to progress way farther than I ever thought I would in such a short time. Your style is the style I'm going for, and it helps that you use the same camera I upgraded to earlier this year, so I know with practice, I can get stunning images like yours!

@@WaywardNorth Nice. I shot and now editing my first wedding. Not paid, just there beside the actual videographer for experience. I do feel weird with my small gh5 even though it's a capable camera. But I can't shoot 10bit in 50fps. So I have to consider when switching from 25 to 50. Do you manage to film everything solo?

This was super helpful! Any advice for filming a ceremony on a 2 camera set up?
@WaywardNorth2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Beth! For sure, Typically I would have Cam 1 focused on the grooms reaction. 85 or 135mm. For your second camera, I would have this as your aisle camera capturing the bridal party/bride. During the ceremony, leave Cam 1 on groom and have your second camera shifting between right side and aisle. You can cover a lot of ground this way and at least gives you multiple perspectives to cut away to. Of course you could just leave it as an aisle cam as well but you would sacrifice possible family reactions and bride vows from a different angle. But vows are most important so just making sure you cover this moment, the rings, the kiss and the exit you will be set.

Hey man! Love your videos. Although it's a year ago, i hope you could help me in something technical. youve mentioned the use mutiple prime lens for a scene. I wonder how did you go about balancing that on a gimbal as you change your a different lens quickly. Or do you not use a gimbal at all? Would appreciate it, thanks!
@WaywardNorth Жыл бұрын
Hey friend! I don't use a gimbal at all anymore. I am mostly hand-held throughout the day. If I were to use a gimbal I would recommend a Zoom lens like a 24-70 to help you diversify your angles.
@gundam00z Жыл бұрын
Awesome man! Thanks! Ome last question, you mentioned in other video that beginners should shot in neutral profile instead of log due to the difficulty of exposung log profiles. What profile would that be called in your sony cam? Is it HLG3? Thanks again! Subed
