How to find 12 volts KEY ON power on superduty?

Just want to thank you for the info . I have a 17 f250 bone stock and wife bought me the harness, dash kit and stereo to add to it . Kit wanted me to buy another $200 module to be able to hook stereo up . Problem is the module is for steering wheel controls which I don’t have . I used that wire for ignition on the stereo . Good to go now . Thanks again

Hi, thanks for this Video. I've got an older 2011 F250 and I also need to find 5 amp power to install a snow plow property. Would I look for a green and orange wire for the switched wire coming out of that passenger fuse panel? thanks for any pointers on which bundle to pull.

What number and use is that fuse wiring on? Is it a "hot" fuse as well?

Thanks for posting this. I am just beginning to look into this for my new F350 SRW. Is there an upfitter bundle of wires inside the cab or do you have to run wires from the bundle under the hood into the cab to connect things like dashcams, CB radios, etc.?

There are pass through wires that go from the cab to the engine apartment. You have to tie those past two wires to the bundle.

question. i have a 18 f250 xlt. Have a plow wired into the green/orange (as you do). all of a sudden there isnt power coming from it. Is there a fuse that could have blown and, how do you figure out what fuse corresponds?

@@DS-TRUCKS have a snowdogg. Figured it out. That orange/green connects to fuse 22 in the kick panel. Was blown. One of the grounds was very slightly loose...maybe it caused the blown fuse. Fixed for now!

@@haydenlandscape2325 there's another ignition wire under the hood. If you have an alumin duty. It's used for 20 amps. May help you out if you end up on that fuse again. It's in the upfitter switch bundle.

@@DS-TRUCKS I don’t have upfitter switches...is there still a bundle? It was originally wired into a power source under the hood and it was key on (which doesn’t jive obviously).

I have it, comes from NavTV part number COD-F50. navtv.com/products/NTV-KIT899/cod-f50.html I ended up turning off the blinker camera option because at night it’s very bright. But it’s quickly re-enable by holding the camera button down.

@@DS-TRUCKS ​@@DS-TRUCKS I like the option of turning on the cameras whenever you want. If you like different views, it remembers the last view. I like that I can turn on the third brake light camera to check cargo in the bed. However, I thought I would love the blinker camera thing and as I said, I turned it off. The screen comes on full brightness like your reverse camera does, every time you switch lanes, even at night. It really messes with your night vision beyond being just annoying. And since it's not a Beamer, I can't just drive without blinker use. LOL. Let's not forget that it's also a 4 bill mod.
