How do you test if the circuit is drawing amps if the battery is dead? Do you have to charge battery first? Or does it somehow figure out the amp draw with the battery dead?

You need to charge the battery, they also sell it amp hound. That’s a real good tool on Amazon pretty cheap.

I can’t see where you are touching the fuse with electrodes, as your hand is in the way. I’m guessing it’s the two little opening on top of fuse?
