There are a few things that has to be taken care of in finding Muhurthans. 1. Muhurtha can be made for any activity. 2. Muhurtha isn't for good or bad for journey or doing puja alone. Muhurtha can be used for other mundane proposes too.3. Yes there may be inherently bad entity like Rahu and good like Jupitar but there are other issues 4. Each entity may be good for a particular act but bad for other act. A mars is needed when one wants a rapid action and saturn is bad. But when you want stable and long term or your act is related to oil, iron etc then Saturn is the best. Instead of delegating good or bad muhurthas, one has to find out what a particular tithi, day and yoga deals with rather than lumping each into good or bad. A simple chart can make things pretty easy. A good for all Brihaspathi day/hora can be made bad by the need where acute force of mars is needed.

There is a contradiction. If the moon is in the birth sign (natal sign) then it will also be in your birth nakshatra. But you said that birth moon is good but birth nakshatra is not good! they both are same.

Would Rohini be a bad choice? My logic was that Rohini is 6 places away, 6 representing debt and loans, or would this be the opposite?

It is half of a tithi. A Karana is approx 12 hours long while tithi is 24 hours long. it may be shorter or longer. The Visti Karana, and other 4 karanas that are bad is mentioned in the video.
