i'm a business major and resumes are something i've had to go over extensively. one big tip i have is DON'T put your gpa on your resume if it's not really good. for me in accounting, i'd say only above 3.8, but it depends on your major. if HR are going over resumes and they see your resume with a 3.4 and someone else's resume with a 3.8, it's going to be really easy for them to lean towards the person with the higher gpa

^^^^ totally agree but the GPA cut-off is different for every major/field! my career recommends to leave it off if it's below the 3.4/3.5 range
