It is crazy how I know people in high school, people in undergrad, people in grad school, married, single/never dated, have children, live at home or live across the country- Such a wide variety of situations in the 18-23 range

I graduated in May too and still don’t have my career. I realized I still have no idea what I want to do and didn’t network enough so I’m still trying to get my feet in the door. It’s hard! College does not prepare you enough for the real world.

Totally agree with everything you said, especially about scheduling! Working full time it feels like you really only have time to accomplish one thing every night (go to the gym, run errands, see friends, etc.) before you have to get ready for the next day of work. Its definitely a weird adjustment but it definitely has helped me to figure out what I value most because my time is so limited during the week! A lot of people older than me have also told me how beneficial it is to live at home, which I chose to do, and I can completely see why since you save so much money :-)

I graduated college in December, so it's all still really fresh. I'm living at home because I didn't get a job lined up. The winter break is over for high schoolers and most college students. Since I'm unemployed (but searching) at the moment it feels like I've been left behind (a little bit). I understand and relate to the points you have made. The struggle is real! Thanks for the video, I think I really needed to hear someone else's experience.

we love a GIRL BOSS! this video motivated me so much!! i'm a freshman in college and god, the adjusting process has been though but what worries me the most is what will be of me after college. This video definitely motivated me to keep focusing and working on my goals. I hope i can manage to live by myself right after i graduate, especially bc i still live in my hometown since my college is here so one more year with them (after i graduate) would be so hard but anyways i'm so excited for the future

I met my husband during freshman year OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL. I think that's the key to having a healthy and balanced relationship honestly. If you're apart until the weekends all the time, you have a lot to talk about, and we came from different worlds anyway so it was easy to keep conversation going. We wound up getting married the same year and it's already been two years :)
